The enduring evolutionary history of lions and long deer

On the African continent, lions are the giraffe's greatest natural predator. In order to eat delicious giraffe meat, lions often lie not far from the giraffe feeding area, quietly waiting for the opportunity. The selected lion then galloped past like an arrow until it threw the panicked giraffe to the ground. Therefore, every time the giraffe forages, it risks its life.

Interestingly, however, giraffes not only do not stay away from their own feeding areas, but they often take newborn baby giraffes closer to lions to forage. As soon as these little giraffes saw the lion not far away, their limbs were weak with fright, their bodies trembled, and they did not have the heart to eat. The lion leisurely looked at the small giraffes, and then selected some prey that was too frightened to walk, and rushed up at lightning speed, biting the throat of the other party tightly. This strange action of the giraffe gave the lions who were waiting nearby a lot of sweetness. They can easily catch small giraffes with tender flesh and running speeds. Lion hunting is getting easier and easier, so much so that many times, after eating enough, they still hold their stomachs and squint their eyes in the sun not far from the giraffe herd.

However, over time, lions gradually discovered a strange phenomenon - perhaps for a long time close with the predator lion, so many small giraffes have a very deep understanding of lions from an early age. After surviving the initial fear of fear, they slowly became calmer, and they also had a lot of understanding of the hunting habits of lions, and their fear of natural enemies was not so strong, and they even came up with ways to fight lions.

Lions increasingly feel that it is more difficult to prey on giraffes, and these clever giraffes gradually find that their running speed is actually very fast, as long as they are not frightened by fear and trembling, most giraffes can rely on their speed and agility to get rid of the lion' pursuit. Even though lions can still chase giraffes sometimes, giraffes who have been in contact with lions since childhood don't have much fear of lions anymore. In the face of the fierce and abnormal lion, the desperate giraffe simply stopped running for its life, but plucked up the courage to confront the lion head-on.

At this time, the lion will first shake his spirit in front of the giraffe, hoping that the other party will have fear. And when the lion finds that its efforts have not been effective, it will throw itself at the giraffe in anger. Just when this electric stone fire and a thousand guns were fired, the giraffe held its breath and kicked at the lion with all its strength...

With a scream, the lion, who had been kicked straight to the ground and vomited blood, fell heavily to the ground. At this time, the giraffe will run up to the lion and stomp on it, and the giraffes around them will often rush over and help their companions to stomp on the lion. As a result, the lion who was proud of the African savannah was trampled alive by a group of former prey.

Since then, lions have rarely killed giraffes. As a result, people are often surprised to find that giraffes can coexist peacefully on the same grassland as their former predators.

Zoologists have found that giraffes risk their lives and never leave their feeding areas because it is difficult to find a suitable foraging area on the African savannah. Moreover, even if such a place is found, the predator lion will follow. So giraffes simply take their young children close to the lions, in order to allow them to overcome their fear of natural enemies from an early age and survive the fierce competition for survival. Giraffes know that what they fear most is the sharp teeth of lions, and what they lack most is the courage to face predators. After understanding this, the giraffe finally got rid of the weak
