According to the data, Haas was born on October 2, 1995 in Birmingham, Alabama, with a height of 2.18 meters and a weight of 132 kilograms, playing as a center. Haas became famous at a young age, and was named a four-star high school student in the United States in high school, and was selected as one of the top 100 high school players in the United States. During his college years, Haas played for Purdue University, a basketball school in the NCAA First Division, and has been the team captain, being the absolute leader of the team's locker room. In the 2017-2018 season, Haas averaged 23 minutes per game, averaging 14.7 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.3 blocks, shooting 57% from the field.
