Adult and nymphs have strong phototropism. It occurs heavily in ditches and overgrown strawberry groves.

(2) Prevention and control methods:

(1) Prevent spawning. For strawberry orchards with severe insect infestations between the rows of fruit trees such as apples and pears, before the adults lay eggs, whitewash the woody fruit trees to prevent egg laying and eliminate overwintering eggs.

(2) Black light booby trap. During the adult stage, set up black lights to trap the adults.

(3) Pharmaceutical prevention and control. When a large number of sprays are prevented, the agent has 40% Lego emulsion 1000 times liquid, 50% octyl thiophos 1000 times liquid. The medication is discontinued 3 weeks before strawberry fruit harvest.
