In order to facilitate enterprises to use high-risk biomedical special items entering and leaving the country, improve their biosecurity control capabilities, and promote the high-quality development of the biomedical industry in Pudong New Area, in accordance with the Decision of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal People's Congress on Strengthening the Legal Guarantee of High-level Reform and Opening Up in Pudong New Area and the relevant provisions, combined with the actual conditions of Pudong New Area, the Several Provisions of Pudong New Area on Promoting the Supervision and Service of Biomedical Special Items Entering and Leaving the Country are formulated, which will come into force on October 15, 2023.
