After more than 30 days of fighting, the Russian-Ukrainian conflict is coming to an end, especially as the fighting in Mariupol draws to a close. At the moment, Russian troops, united Chechen forces and Donetsk armed forces, are rapidly crushing the Ukrainian army in Mariupol, as well as the remnants of the Azov battalion. The Azov battalion, once a threat, has collapsed and no longer constitutes an effective organization.
In the face of the strong offensive of the Russian coalition, the criminal commander of the Azov battalion began to perceive that the situation was not good and planned to secretly withdraw from the battlefield. They know that if captured by the militias of eastern Ukraine or Chechen forces, they will face an unfortunate fate. Against this background, the commander of the 36th brigade of the Ukrainian Navy requested the assistance of senior Ukrainian officials in their rapid departure from Mariupol. This clearly shows that these commanders have seen the reality that the defense line in Mariupol has completely collapsed, and it is only a matter of time before the Russian coalition forces take the city. For them, the only thing that can be done is to quickly evacuate before Russia takes over Mariupol completely. The Kyiv regime, so to speak, is ready to abandon Mariupol.
The commanders of the operation in Mariupol included the commander of the 36th brigade of the separate marines, Colonel Anatolyovich, and the commander of the Azov battalion, Major Denis Hennadyovich. In recognition of their contribution to the "defense" of Mariupol, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky awarded them the title of hero. However, these two heroes are currently in great danger. To rescue them, the Ukrainian military plans to use helicopters for air rescue to evacuate the two heroes from dangerous areas.
However, the evacuation was blocked by the Russian military. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, Russian air defense forces shot down a Mi-8 helicopter flying to Mariupol over the Sea of Azov. The helicopter was destroyed by Russian troops 5 km above Mariupol.
Unlike those commanders of the Azov battalion, who intended to flee, Chechen leader Kadyrov personally arrived in Mariupol, boosted morale and ordered Chechen troops to quickly clear the Ukrainian army and the remnants of the Azov battalion. He shouted to Ukraine, asking them to immediately collect the bodies of the members of the Azov battalion, so that Ukraine could send someone to deal with these bodies as soon as possible. This can be described as a mockery of the Ukrainian government.
