Many people only know that this is called Hanfu, but the word Hanfu is too general and not enough to clearly express the culture and inheritance of clothing.
China's clothing culture has a long history, from the pre-Qin period to modern times, each dynasty is different, regardless of the material and style, has its own regulations and requirements, not how you want to wear it.
As shown in the above three pictures, in fact, they are all the style of the skirt, the skirt appeared in the Warring States Period, arose in the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, and flourished in the Tang Dynasty. The short coat worn on the upper body and the skirt of the lower body are collectively called the skirt, which is a typical upper and lower clothing system, the upper body is called the undergarment, which is generally not longer than the knee, and the lower body is called the skirt, which is the collective name of the two kinds of clothing.
According to the height of the skirt waist, it can be divided into waist-length skirt, high-waisted skirt, chest-length skirt, and according to the different collars, it can be divided into cross-collar and straight collar. According to this classification: Pictures 1 and 3 are both straight collars, the picture looks like a straight collar waist-length skirt, Figure 3 is a straight-necked breast-length skirt, and Figure 2 is a high-waisted skirt with a crossed neckline.
The sleeves of the undergarment are generally relatively long, and the right side of the collar shaped like a Y is the standard neckline style of Hanfu.

The skirt is a regular dress in Hanfu and can be worn daily.
Hanfu was forcibly strangled in the early Qing Dynasty in the "shaving of hair and easy clothes", and the flag dress and skirt of the Qing Dynasty were not skirts.
Underskirts are also not for women, and men can also wear them.
Men's underskirt is a man's underskirt, which consists of an upper skirt and an underskirt. The upper shirt is mostly handed over. Compared with women's skirts, men's skirts are more rustic in style and pattern. Han men also have a long history of wearing skirts. Although the appearance of deep clothes and straight clothes later, the number of people wearing them decreased, but the official highest-standard men's dress was still a clothing system, which continued until the fall of the Ming Dynasty.
