In the past 10 days, due to the influence of the cold wave, the temperature in most parts of the mainland has been significantly lower. Fortunately, all this is finally over temporarily, and in the last week of 2023, the central and eastern regions are all warming up!
Overall, in the coming week, the cumulative temperature rise in the central and eastern parts of the country can generally reach 5~10 °C, and many places in the northwest, north China and along the Yangtze River can reach more than 10 °C. The maximum temperature of 0°C line will gradually rise north to the east of Inner Mongolia and northern Liaoning, and the 10°C line will be located from southern Shaanxi to northern Henan.

The road to recovery in the south will be smoother, and the temperature will continue to rise. Today, the maximum temperature of 10 °C has almost completely crossed the Yangtze River, and it will continue to rise northward next week, and the maximum temperature in many places south of the Yangtze River can rise to more than 15 °C; the range of maximum temperature above 20 °C in Yunnan, Guangxi, Guangdong, and Fujian will also increase one after another.
Tomorrow morning, the minimum temperature in Hunan, Jiangxi, Zhejiang and other parts of the minimum temperature will be below freezing, and it is expected that the minimum temperature in most areas south of the Yangtze River will return to above zero from next Wednesday.
