The evaluation results of the 2023 "Top 10" counties (cities) in county economic strength, the "top 10" counties (cities) in economic development and the "top 10" districts in urban development in Fujian Province were released on the 30th.
Among them, the "top ten" counties (cities) in economic strength are: Jinjiang City, Fuqing City, Shishi City, Minhou County, Nan'an City, Hui'an County, Shanghang County, Fu'an City, Lianjiang County, and Yongan City. The "top ten" counties (cities) in economic development are: Xiapu County, Pingnan County, Zhouning County, Dongshan County, Zhangpu County, Hua'an County, Liancheng County, Changting County, Jiangle County and Dehua County. The "top 10" districts of urban development are: Siming District, Gulou District, Jiaocheng District, Huli District, Longhai District, Haicang District, Changtai District, Xiang'an District, Xiangcheng District and Changle District.

The economic evaluation of counties (cities and districts) is an important starting point for guiding and encouraging all localities to catch up with and surpass each other and accelerate high-quality development. Since 1994, the Development Research Center of the Provincial Government has carried out this work continuously. The evaluation index system does not take GDP as a hero, but also includes major economic indicators, including scientific and technological innovation, social development, people's livelihood security, ecological environment and other indicators, reflecting the requirements of high-quality development.
