Chen Yanquan, a former member of the party group of the Guangchang County Land and Resources Bureau, accepted gifts in violation of the law. From September 2013 to June 2015, Chen Yanquan repeatedly accepted gifts such as tobacco and alcohol from Chen (engaged in real estate development in Guangchang County), worth a total of 10,000 yuan, and then took care of Chen when he applied for land use rights and other related procedures. In March 2020, Chen Yanquan was punished with a warning from within the party to confiscate his illegal gains.
Liu Huiming, first secretary of Fenshui Village in Xinfengjie Town, Nancheng County, Lin Busheng, secretary of the village party branch, and Cui Yongqing, director of the village committee, ate and drank in violation of the law. At noon on Wednesday, January 8, 2020, Liu Huiming, Lin Busheng, Cui Yongqing, Zou Yueyuan, commander of the militia battalion of the village committee, Changjiang Longzai of the village group and other village group cadres ate at the canteen of the village committee, purchased two bottles of liquor and a case of beer with public funds and drank them. In January 2020, Liu Huiming and Lin Busheng received severe warnings from within the party, instructing the Nancheng Branch of the Municipal Highway Bureau to dismiss Liu Huiming from their posts as directors of the Comprehensive Management Office of the Nancheng Branch; Cui Yongqing, Zou Yueyuan, and Jiang Longzai received warnings from within the party; Zou Jianchao, a member of the town organization committee and leader of Bao Village, who had leadership responsibility, and Li Yongling, deputy director of the Nancheng Branch of the Municipal Highway Bureau; chen Hongji, secretary of the Party Committee of Xinfeng Street Town, who had leadership responsibility. Shi Mugui, director of the Nancheng Branch of the Municipal Highway Bureau, and Wu Dong, secretary of the Xinfeng Street Town Discipline Inspection Committee, who has supervisory responsibilities, held a conversation to remind him.
He Xunhua, a section-level cadre of the Nanfeng County Public Security Bureau, illegally took funds for official oil cards. From February 2015 to May 2016, He Xunhua took out 12,781.22 yuan of fuel card funds for other work expenses and personal expenses by placing official fuel cards at gas stations and refueling other vehicles by gas station staff. In December 2019, He Xunhua was punished with an internal party warning to confiscate his illegal gains.
In the above three typical cases, some accepted gifts in violation of the law, some took oil card funds, and some ate and drank at public expense in the face of discipline, reflecting the weak sense of discipline of a small number of party members and cadres, ignoring the spirit of the eight central regulations, and lacking reverence. These party members and cadres have been dealt with severely and the lessons have been profound. The vast number of party members and cadres throughout the city should draw lessons from this, earnestly enhance their political standing and political awareness, tighten the strings of work style construction, cultivate a clean and healthy atmosphere, and internalize the party's fine traditions and work style in their hearts and externalize them in their deeds.
With the "May Day" holiday approaching, party organizations at all levels should earnestly perform the main responsibility of style building, incorporate the correction of the "four winds" into the important work arrangements during the festival, and focus on rectifying the hidden variations of the "four winds" problems in the name of stimulating consumption, such as eating and drinking in violation of the law, traveling at public expense, providing public maintenance for private cars, indiscriminately issuing subsidies and welfare, accepting express delivery gifts, and electronic red envelopes. The Gaolan Township Elderly Home in Fengyi County illegally issued subsidies. In 2018, the Gaolan Township Respect for the Elderly Home illegally issued a total of 4,500 yuan in subsidies to three staff members in the name of holiday duty subsidies. Huang Pingcai has the main leadership responsibility for this. Huang Pingcai also has other disciplinary problems. In January 2020, Huang Pingcai received a severe warning from the party and the money for violating discipline was confiscated.
Li Yonghua, former secretary of the party branch of Yangjia Village, Guanchao Town, Fairy Lake District, received problems in violation of the law. From 2012 to 2017, when Li Yonghua was the secretary of the party branch of Yangjia Village in Guanchao Town, he arbitraged project funds for illegal reception, purchase of tobacco and alcohol. Li Yonghua also has other disciplinary problems. In January 2020, Li Yonghua was dismissed from his party post and the money for disciplinary violations was confiscated.
