On February 5, 2024, the residents of the Mochou Lake community gathered together to participate in the 2024 New Year cultural and artistic activities organized by the Mochou Lake community on the occasion of the auspicious farewell of the old year and the golden dragon offering rui to welcome the New Year.
The performances of this event are all from the spontaneous team of community residents, which is a vivid practice of community residents participating in and building a harmonious community. Through various activities such as theatrical performances and New Year blessings, residents welcomed the arrival of the New Year together, and at the same time deepened their sense of belonging and identity to the community.
The art show was wonderful. The "Spring Mochou Lake" brought by the Mochou Lake Community Art Choir sang the beauty of Mochou Lake, the Yunnan folk dance "Golden Peacock" performed by Yale Blowpipe was vivid, the "Yimeng Song" by the Xinghe Dance Troupe and the "Outwitting Tiger Mountain" by the Peking Opera Society conveyed the revolutionary spirit of the Chinese nation. In addition, the folk dance brought by the Xinjiang Uygur girl in the Pomegranate Flower Xinjiang Restaurant in the jurisdiction is the embodiment of the ethnic family.
With the support of the District Federation of Literary and Art Circles, members of the District Calligraphers Association wrote blessing characters and Spring Festival couplets for the community residents, wishing residents and friends a happy New Year.
Looking forward to the future, Mochou Lake Community will continue to uphold the concept of "people-oriented, serving residents", constantly enrich and improve various community activities, and strive to create a more harmonious and beautiful living environment, so as to contribute to the livability of Mochou.
