On the afternoon of April 9th, the three primary schools in Shaodong City ushered in a storytelling competition for the lower grades with the theme of "stories nourish children's hearts, reading grows with them", which opened the prelude to the series of activities of the three small Xinghe reading month in the urban area.
The storytelling competition will first hold a preliminary round in each class of the lower grades, with everyone participating, and then 2 outstanding contestants will be selected from each class to participate in the school competition, and the school administrative leaders will serve as judges.
With the clear voice of the host, the competition officially kicked off. The young players dressed up carefully, all of them were full of confidence, behaved generously, and went on the field in an orderly manner. The little contestants are all like story kings. Listen, the crisp and pleasant voice, the subdued tone, look, the cute and lively body movements, the quirky facial expressions, and the vivid performance brought everyone into the colorful fairy tale world, which attracted the praise of the judges. These interesting stories also planted the seeds of sincerity, kindness, perseverance, and wisdom in the hearts of young audiences.
In this competition, in the form of on-site scoring, the judges and teachers carefully recorded and scored objectively in line with the principle of fairness and justice, and finally selected the first and second grades after fierce competition: 6 first prizes, 8 second prizes, and 10 third prizes. Among them, Zhao Li Zhenzhen, Zhao Ruohan, Zheng Michen, Li Jinyi, Tang Zirui, Li Haokun in the first grade, and Li Yan, Zhang Yihan, Wang Zixuan, Deng Sirui, Li Moxi, and Rong Yuxuan in the second grade won the competition.
Excellent stories are like warm sunshine, guiding children's physical and mental health development. This storytelling competition improved the children's language expression skills and fully demonstrated the positive, healthy and upward spirit of the three primary school students.
