At the scene, the person in charge of Happy Twist revealed the latest trends of Haixin Theater in Putuo District.
Canal Theater is a new business card of performing arts jointly created by Happy Twist, Suzhou Radio and Television Media Group and Gusu District People's Government, formerly known as "Suzhou Performing Arts Center", with a total construction area of about 42,000 square meters, and is the largest comprehensive service center integrating performances, exhibitions and training in the center of Suzhou. The renovation of the project began on June 30 last year, and after eight months of renovation, the theater has been renovated.
The overall space design of the renovated theater is modern, atmospheric and inclusive, meeting the needs of different types of performances. With a total of 992 seats on two floors, this newly completed near-theater has injected more "youthfulness" into the ancient city with its unique theme of "drama and play". In the outdoor area, the "Twist Camp" is also open in the North Square of the Canal Theater, which will be linked with the market in the South Square to become a new social space for local citizens.
At present, the Canal Theater has officially entered the hot ticketing season, and 7 happy twist classic plays such as "The Earl of Oolong Mountain", "Blind Painting Artist" and "Spring Breeze Can't" will be staged in turn.
Regarding the Haixin Theater, which is located in Putuo, Shanghai, and has entered the state of internal construction, Wang Haigang, chairman of Shanghai Happy Twist Culture Media Co., Ltd., said bluntly in an interview with reporters that Haixin Theater is very important for Happy Twist, "If the project goes smoothly, it is planned to open next summer." At that time, Haixin Theater will become a place where content is generated, and a gathering place that is organically integrated with other business formats, bringing high-quality and diversified cultural performance experience to Shanghai citizens. ”
Wang Haigang revealed that the experience accumulated in the operation process of the Canal Theater will empower the daily operation of the Haixin Theater, and the operation mode, content and activities of Suzhou will inevitably be linked with the Haixin Theater in Putuo in the future to produce a chemical effect.
It is reported that in 2021, Happy Twist will "fall" in Putuo, and in 2023, the theater will be named Haixin Theater. In the future, it will be used as the main performance theater of Happy Twist Shanghai.
