In 2017, Ganhai Village, Liujie Town, introduced Shengmuchun peach seedlings, which were provided to the masses for demonstration planting free of charge, and provided technical and management supporting services. The Shengmu spring peaches produced here have a good taste and are full of juice, so they are very popular in the market.
At present, more than 200 villagers in Ganhai Village have planted 370 acres of Shengmuchun peaches in the mountainous area, with a yield of more than 1 ton per mu, and the picking period will last from the end of May to mid-July.
The organizers of the "Shengmu Chun Peach Folk Culture Festival" hope to further expand the brand effect of Shengmu Chun Peach in Ganhai Village, enhance the popularity and reputation of rural tourism, drive the sales of local peaches, and increase farmers' income.
