Yiliang County state-owned Lufeng Village Forest Farm, is a rare century-old forest farm, was founded in 1909, formerly known as Yuyuan Government and Business Co., Ltd., after the Qing Dynasty period of the "Government Wood Bureau", the Republic of China period of the "Official Wood Bureau" and "Yunnan Province Lufeng Village State-owned Forest Farm", once under the former Yunnan Provincial Forestry Department, the former Qujing District Forestry Bureau, in 1984 assigned to the Yiliang County Forestry Bureau management, in 2003 renamed Yiliang County State-owned Lufeng Village Forest Farm, is now affiliated to the Yiliang County Forestry and Grassland Bureau, for the public welfare of a class of institutions.

The forest site is located at the southern end of Kunming City, and the business area spans Zhushan Town, Yiliang County, Kunming City, Banqiao Street Office and Dake Township, Shilin County, Kunming City, Qinglong Town, Huaning County, Yuxi City, Xier Township, Maitreya City, Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture, and consists of 6 camp forest areas, including Jianshan Forest District, Xujiashan Forest District, Chulin District, Zhushan Forest District, Yimaban Forest District, and Aci Forest District, with an east-west span of 10 kilometers and a north-south span of 70 kilometers.

The forest farm covers an area of 7,253 hectares, with a standing tree volume of 319,400 cubic meters. The main distribution tree species are Yunnan pine, Huashan pine and oak, and the species of shell bucket family are particularly rich. There is 1 Yunnan pine seed collection base, and nearly 4 million seedlings have been cultivated in recent years. In recent years, the mushroom picking model has effectively developed the local economy and helped rural revitalization.

In February 1997, the forest farm was awarded the title of "Advanced Collective of Forest Pest Control and Control" by the former Kunming Forestry Bureau; In November 1999, it was awarded the title of "Advanced Unit of Forest Fire Prevention" in Kunming; In May 2004, it was awarded the title of "2002-2003 Advanced Unit for the Construction of Pearl River Shelterbelt Project" in Yiliang County.
