Although pure electric off-road is "bought" by many well-known two-wheeled brands, for many "age-appropriate" two-wheeled enthusiasts, the small straddle that can be commuted and played is the favorite of daily commuting. E-mobility brand Solar Scooters has recently unveiled a new electric motorcycle, the E-Clipse 2.0 Race Edition, designed for driving on city roads as well as in the wild.
According to the data, the chassis and rocker arm of the vehicle are made of hand-woven carbon fiber, which focuses on a "light weight, high strength and strong rigidity". Like its siblings, the Race Edition is perfect for city commuting or off-road fun, "allowing riders to experience the thrill of exploration without restrictions without compromise" and is compliant with local regulations and licenseable.
In terms of performance, the new car is equipped with an electric motor with a peak power of 13kW and an upgraded 18-mosfet controller that achieves "unparalleled torque" and can reach a top speed of 105km/h.
It is equipped with an LG 21700 battery cell 72V/45Ah removable battery, with a range of up to 112.6km per charge. Plug into a household socket with the included charger and charge in less than 3 hours. In addition, the kinetic energy recharge system can also help the rider squeeze more range.
The Solar E-Clipse 2.0 Race Edition is available in a variety of wheel options, including the tough-road-resistant Enduro, the street-friendly Super Moto, and lightweight, full carbon wheels. Other features include a remote lock/unlock function, an immobilizer, and a lockable inverted fork.
The Race Edition starts at US$6,795.95 (about 49,246 yuan). This price is slightly more expensive than the one previously introduced, but it is much cheaper than the Livewire (priced at about RMB 116,000) launched by Peugeot and DAB (priced at about RMB 116,000).
