Table tennis report is coming, dear friends, the 2024 WTT Ljubljana Star Challenge has come to a successful conclusion, due to the absence of national table tennis, the Japanese team shined and won three crowns, Brazil Hugo won the men's singles championship, France won the runner-up three times, and the South Korean team missed the medal and shaved a big bald head!
2. Details of the competition
1. Mixed doubles final
Japan's Tomokazu Zhangmoto/Hina Hayada and Korea's Lim Chung-hoon/Shin Yu-bin battled it out in a thrilling battle to win the title. The players on both sides are equal in strength, and the game process is extremely stalemate. After five rounds of hard fighting, Tomokazu Zhangmoto/Hina Hayada narrowly defeated their opponents 3:2 and won the championship with excellent cooperation and stable performance. Although the South Koreans unfortunately lost, their performance should not be underestimated.
2. Men's doubles
The Swedish pair Carlberg/Carlsen won the championship with a 3:1 victory over the French pair Simon Goetz/Alex with excellent strength and tacit cooperation. The French duo failed to win the title, but they put in a great performance and finished runners-up.
3. Women's doubles competition
Japan's Miyu Kihara/Miyu Nagasaki battled off against Korea's Zhu Qianxi/Tian Zhixi. In the end, the Japanese team played well in the match, defeating their opponents 3-1 and winning the championship. Although the South Koreans were unable to win, they also showed tenacious fighting spirit in the match, which impressed the fans.
4. Women's singles competition
Japan's Hina Hayada played steadily and defeated France's Pavard 4-0 to win the women's singles title. Hina Hayata's outstanding performance not only added glory to the Japanese team, but also showed her strong strength in table tennis. Pavard was unable to win, but her fighting spirit in the tournament deserves our appreciation.
5. Men's singles final
Brazil's Victor Hugo showed his strength and won the title with a 4-0 win over France's Felix Lebrun. Felix didn't win the title, but he did a great job in the race, jumping for joy after finishing second.
