On June 18, a bus in Jinpu New District, Dalian, Liaoning Province, lost control and crashed into the gate of a bank branch, causing concern.
On the morning of the 18th, the Jinpu New Area Management Committee issued a briefing on the matter, saying that the accident caused minor injuries to 4 passengers, and 1 passenger was seriously injured.
According to the report, at about 8 o'clock on the 18th, when Cheng Mouming drove a bus along Jinyuan Street in Dalian Development Zone from north to south to the intersection of Jinyuan Middle Road, due to the temporary change of lane and right turn of a small car traveling in the same direction, the bus was unable to avoid emergency and scrape with it, and drove out of control into the southwest side of the intersection and crashed into the gate of a bank branch on the street.
After a preliminary investigation, the bus driver ruled out suspicions of drunk driving, drug driving, and revenge against society. The crew of the small car (1 driver) was not injured, and 49 passengers on the bus were sent to the hospital for examination in time, of which 4 passengers were slightly injured and treated in the hospital; Another passenger was seriously injured and is being treated with all efforts to save his life.
The specific cause of the accident is under further investigation.
