Recently, SAIC-GM-Wuling announced that its new SUV model, which was once named Wuling Xingchen PLUS, has been renamed Wuling Xingguang S. Not long ago, the website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China also released the declaration map of the new car. Referring to the price of Wuling Xingguang and several other SUVs of Wuling, Wuling Xingguang S will surely become another SUV model that is very competitive in terms of price.
Judging from the only small amount of information so far, the new car adopts a more curved design, and the overall shape is softer. At the front, the front features a closed front grille with split headlights, and two sets of daytime running lights with a certain angle. The side of the body adopts two-tone wheels, and the doors retain the traditional handles, which is easy to use. There are chrome trim strips on the side window lines and under the doors.
In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4745×1890×1685mm, and the wheelbase is 2800mm.
The rear design is similarly clean, with a straight roof that ensures plenty of headroom, taillights are made up of a broken line, and a silver trim plate under the black plastic rear bumper.
In terms of power system, Wuling Xingguang S will provide pure electric and plug-in hybrid two power forms, the pure electric version of the model is equipped with a 150kW electric motor, and the plug-in hybrid model is equipped with a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine with an electric motor, with a maximum engine power of 78kW, and the motor power is also expected to be 150kW.
At present, the price of the pure electric version of Wuling Starlight is 99,800-109,800 yuan, and the price of the plug-in hybrid version is 79,800-105,800 yuan.
