On June 17, the first stop of the "Great Love Northern Xinjiang Charity Grassland Helping the Disabled Public Welfare Action" jointly sponsored by the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Disabled Persons' Federation and the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Disabled Persons' Welfare Foundation came to Tuoxian County, and the launching ceremony of the "Great Love Northern Xinjiang Waist and Leg Pain" caring action was carried out, and a series of disability assistance activities were carried out.
At the launching ceremony, the relevant leaders of the Autonomous Region Welfare Foundation for the Disabled, the Hohhot Disabled Persons' Federation, the Tuoxian County Party Committee and the County Disabled Persons' Federation jointly pressed the starting ball, and the "Great Love Northern Xinjiang Waist and Leg Pain" care action project was officially launched. Subsequently, some full-time members and staff representatives of the grassroots disabled in our county were commended, condolences were sent, and high respect was paid to all the comrades who have worked hard in the field of disabled people.
At the donation ceremony, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Welfare Foundation for the Disabled donated ReSound hearing aids, prosthetics, community assistive devices, toiletries, books, etc., with a total value of 1.8096 million yuan, to the disabled people in our county.
At the event site, the staff of the County Disabled Persons' Federation provided rest areas, drinking rooms and project guidance services for the disabled and their families. Experts from the pain department of the autonomous region provided free clinics to 36 disabled people with symptoms of low back and leg pain; The hearing care staff of Inner Mongolia Aiyang Technology Co., Ltd. adapted hearing aids to 67 hearing-impaired people; Inner Mongolia Bukang Prosthetic and Orthotic Technology Co., Ltd. adapted and took the type for 2 disabled people. The "Great Love Northern Xinjiang Charity Grassland Trip to Help the Disabled" has greatly helped the disabled in our county to alleviate their suffering, relieve economic pressure, enjoy high-quality medical services nearby, and further improve their quality of life.
After the event, the Autonomous Region Welfare Foundation for the Disabled visited 6 families with severe disabilities and 1 family with multiple disabilities in our county, and brought condolences to them. During this period, we asked them about their health, life and social security, listened to their difficulties and problems, and encouraged them to be confident in life, maintain a healthy attitude, be self-reliant, and face life with a positive and optimistic attitude.
Next, the County Disabled Persons' Federation will continue to make up for shortcomings, forge long boards, do a good job in "benefiting the disabled" and helping the disabled, publicize the public welfare undertakings of the disabled, and work together to be a solid backing for the disabled, so that the disabled can be trusted, reliable and rest assured at critical moments.
