On June 18th, the peach base of Changsong Village, Baihe Street, Longquanyi District, Chengdu held a unique peach picking and brand promotion activity of "'peach' drunk and sweet 'summer'". The event aims to showcase the excellent quality of the new peach varieties in Changsong Village, increase brand awareness, and promote the sustainable development of the local agricultural industry.
It is reported that Changsong Village is a demonstration village officially named "One Village, One Product in China" in 2017, and has always attracted attention for its deep industrial foundation and wide range of new varieties and new technology applications. With the continuous development of the peach industry, the emergence of new varieties has injected new vitality into the market, and also made the peaches of Changsong Village more favored by consumers. In recent years, the Party Committee of Changsong Village has given full play to the efficiency of regional party building, selected large planters and technical experts to form a technical service team for party members of the branch, and went to Chongqing, Jianyang, Mabian and other places to carry out more than 40 technical guidance services, helping to build a peach base of 5,000 acres, and exploring a new path for party members to help rural revitalization across regions.
With the theme of "'Peach' Drunk and Sweet 'Summer'", the event allowed participants to experience the sweet taste of peaches in Changsong Village by holding tasting and picking activities; Through the on-site new product promotion, the appearance characteristics, ripening time, and taste characteristics of various new peaches were displayed, so that the participants could feel the progress of Changsong peaches up close. In addition to inviting the participants to taste peaches, the day's activities also carried out branch co-construction activities.
