Yes, I'm talking about Shuangjiang Ancient Town.
Shuangjiang Ancient Town is located in the northwest of Chongqing, in the lower reaches of the Fujiang River.
The ancient town was built in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, and has a history of more than 400 years.
Shuangjiang Ancient Town is known by experts as a "rare Qing Dynasty residential complex", a street in the Qing Dynasty.
Shuangjiang Ancient Town is one of the top ten historical towns in Chongqing.
Why is it called Shuangjiang Ancient Town? It is because the Monkey Creek and the Creek meander around the ancient town.
There are a total of nine streets in the ancient town.

Because the homestead of the house was originally a 50-acre piece of fertile land,
Therefore, the Yang family house also has a name, called Tianba Compound.
Yang's house was built in the 4th year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty, that is, in 1878, and was rated as the sixth batch of national key cultural protection units in 2006.

The flower hall is the place where Tao Xiangjiu, who was called "Li Qingzhao today" by Hu Shi, sang and wrote poems.

In February 1926, at No. 70 Ya Street, Erfu, Chongqing, the Chongqing Local Executive Committee of the Communist Party of China was established, and Yang Yan served as secretary, and he was 27 years old that year.
Multimedia Landscape: The Lushun Uprising
In November 1926, the Chongqing Prefectural Committee of the Communist Party of China revolted in Luzhou and Nanchong (Shunqing) and established a military committee with Yang Yangong as secretary and Zhu De and Liu Bocheng as members. On December 1, the Lushun Uprising broke out, with more than 12,000 officers and soldiers participating.

Yuwang Palace
The third stop, let's go to see Yuwang Palace.
More than 300 years have passed, and Yu Wanggong is one of the most magnificent buildings in the ancient buildings of Shuangjiang Ancient Town.
Yuwang Palace was built in the early Qing Dynasty, and was formerly called Huguang Hall.
In the summer of 1927, Yang Huaiqing founded the 16th Primary School of Tongnan County in Yuwang Palace, and the school site was in the "Guandi Temple". In 1936, it was renamed "Shuangjiang Primary School".
The carvings on the outside of the ancient stage are still smart, but they look weird after being recolored.
Luo Shiwen
After the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War, the Chongqing Women's Rural Service Team came to Shuangjiang to promote anti-Japanese propaganda, and Yuwang Palace was used as a base for propaganda and anti-Japanese resistance. Luo Shiwen, the former secretary of the Sichuan Provincial Military Commission, secretary of the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee, and director of the Chengdu Office of the Eighth Route Army, worked here.
Wu Yuzhang
In addition to Luo Shiwen, Wu Yuzhang, one of the "Five Elders of Yan'an", was also stationed in Yu Wanggong.
It is said that Sichuan opera artist Liao Jingqiu often sang here.
The smash hit "Samsung" in the Bashu opera industry has also performed here.
In 1993, Yang Shangkun returned to his hometown and met with all the teachers and students of Shuangjiang Primary School and the educators of Tongnan in Yuwang Palace.
Yang Shangkun's former residence
The fourth stop, we went to visit Yang Shangkun's former residence.
Yang Shangkun's former residence is in Jinlong Village, Shuangjiang Town, which was officially opened in May 2007.
Yang Shangkun's former residence is also called "Sizhitang", built in the early years of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty, has a history of more than 140 years from now, and is the family residence of Yang Chuankui, the second son of Yang Shisui, Yang Shangkun's great-grandfather.
Bamboo wall
Bamboo wall is a more common form of wall in ancient and modern southern architecture. In the middle, a skeleton is woven with bamboo strips, and then straw, mud, and lime are plastered on both sides.
Ode to Dusk
"Ode to Dusk" is a favorite oil painting of Yang Shangkun during his lifetime, and it is the work of Hong Ling, an oil painting master of the Central Academy of Fine Arts.

From September 1945 to November 1965, Yang Shangkun served as director of the General Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China for 20 years. In Zhongnanhai, the table lamps in the offices of Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai, and Yang Shangkun were turned off later than the lights of others, and were called the "three lamps of Zhongnanhai", and Yang Shangkun was called the "Zhongnanhai execution lamp".

Yang Shangkun's son Yang Shaoming donated.
Looking at the outer packaging of the foreign wine, Yang Shangkun specially told him to save the wine until the return of Hong Kong in 1997.
In 1958, Yang Shangkun accompanied Deng Xiaoping and others to inspect the production of agricultural cooperatives in the suburbs of Beijing.
Yang Shangkun and his second son are in Beidaihe.
In 1983, Yang Shangkun served as vice chairman of the Central Military Commission.
On September 14, 1998, Yang Shangkun passed away. After his body was cremated, shrapnel that had survived for 63 years was found in the ashes.
Although Shuangjiang Ancient Town is not big, it is very rich in content, even if it takes half a day to see.
