Recently, Sony announced in its recently updated FAQ page that it will end the Sony Rewards program on December 31, 2024.
The program previously allowed users to earn points for Sony electronics, gift cards, and PSN store codes by completing specific missions in the game and using Sony PlayStation Visa credit cards. PlayStation credit cards were first introduced in 2017.
Until the end of the year, users will still be able to redeem points and access their accounts, as well as submit a request form for reward points and purchase points through the app.
It is important to note that the Sony Rewards program is not the same as another loyalty program called "PlayStation Stars", and the termination of the Sony Rewards program does not affect the latter.
