At about 23 o'clock on June 19, on the Kaidian No. 2 double-line bridge of the Mimeng high-speed railway, a bright yellow mobile pneumatic welding rail car is 60 kilometers and 500 meters away, welding two new rails that are about to be connected to the track together, which is the first time that China Railway Kunming Bureau Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the Kunming Bureau of the National Railway) Kaiyuan Public Works Section and Kunming Public Works Machinery Depot and other units have used large mobile pneumatic welding rail cars to carry out rail welding construction operations in Mimeng High-speed Railway.
"The rail welding construction operation will effectively ensure the operation quality of passenger trains on the railway line, reduce the vibration and noise in the operation of the train, improve the comfort of passengers, and also reduce the maintenance cost of the railway and prolong the service life of the rail." Xu Wenchao, secretary of the general party branch of the Kaiyuan South Line Workshop of the Kaiyuan Public Works Section, told reporters that in order to ensure the smooth progress of the construction, the Kunming Bureau of the National Railway jointly organized a number of units to work together and invested 62 manpower and 1 YHGQ-1200 mobile pneumatic welding rail car with material support. The whole process of pneumatic welding operation needs to carry out more than 10 processes such as rail sawing, rust removal, milling, rail alignment, welding, cooling, normalizing, coarse grinding, fine grinding, joint quality inspection, flaw detection, etc., to effectively ensure that the welding quality is stable and reliable.
"To start the rail saw, you must cut the rails accurately!" On the night of construction, with the order of the person in charge of construction, the on-site operators orderly carried out a series of preparations before the welding of new rails, such as fastener loosening, old rail cutting and dialing, and new rail falling groove.
It is reported that the pneumatic welding operation is located in the curve section, the curve radius is 3500 meters long, the ultra-high 150 mm, the welding curvature needs to be accurately controlled, which puts forward higher requirements for the quality and accuracy of the operation, the rail cutter needs to cut the cutting position accurately to ensure that the new rail can accurately fall into the groove.
"Windproof bulging" and "Pay attention to the heating of rail welding"...... At the operation site, in the roar of the welding rail car and the echo of the personnel, the fiery red light illuminated the entire night sky and illuminated everyone's face, and the scene was very spectacular. "Ten seconds, five seconds...... Good! With a "good" sound, the flame was extinguished instantly, the tumor pusher slowly pushed the welding nodule, the rail joint was integrated, and the main operation of pneumatic welding of a section of rail was successfully completed. After the cooling, normalizing and other processes are completed one after another, the two copy grinders are quickly put in place, blooming brilliant "fireworks" in the dark night sky, polishing to form a solid, flat seamless line.
