Sanyan Technology reported on June 24 that during the Huawei Developer Conference a few days ago, Yu Chengdong, executive director of Huawei, chairman of the terminal BG, and chairman of the intelligent vehicle solution BU, experienced the native HarmonyOS application development with developers, and once again became a "code farmer".

Yu Chengdong said that he was a software engineer when he joined Huawei 31 years ago, when the programming languages were C and C++, and the development systems were DOS, Windows and UNIX. He said that in the past, he was limited by development languages, development tools, etc., and he had to write many lines of code to write a simple function.

He also mentioned that when he was interviewed for Huawei, the exam question was to develop a graphical interface in the DOS environment, which still required a long amount of code.
