The 10th anniversary of the establishment of Hefei Innovation Institute
On the morning of June 25, the Hefei Technology Innovation Engineering Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (hereinafter referred to as the "Hefei Innovation Institute"), located in Hefei High-tech Zone, held the 4th Industrial Chain Innovation Chain Collaborative Development Forum and the 10th anniversary theme event of the establishment of Hefei Innovation Institute.

At the meeting, the launching ceremony of the 4th Industrial Chain Innovation Chain Collaborative Development Forum was also held, and the signing ceremony of the Anhui Open Automotive Ecological Laboratory, the Anhui Low-altitude Intelligent Connectivity Research Institute, and the Global Partner Innovation Unit of HKUST Silicon Valley settled in Hefei Innovation Institute.

In June 2014, the Hefei Municipal People's Government and the Hefei Institute of Physical Sciences of the Chinese Academy of Sciences cooperated to establish the "Hefei Technology Innovation Engineering Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences" and the "Chinese Academy of Sciences (Hefei) Technology Innovation Engineering Institute Co., Ltd." (former name), which are committed to realizing the transformation of major scientific and technological achievements and giving full play to the supporting role of science and technology in regional economic development.
Over the past ten years since its establishment, Hefei Innovation Institute has built four core systems of "industrial technology innovation, industrial innovation talents, transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and cultivation of science and technology enterprises" around the four-in-one innovation mechanism of "technology incubation, technology transformation, business incubation, and venture capital", and established the "Innovation Institute Model" for the coordinated development of the industrial chain innovation chain.
Hefei Innovation Institute focuses on the two future industries of "digital economy and life and health", and builds an ecosystem of "science and technology + industry". Up to now, more than 400 enterprises have been incubated, 68 national high-tech enterprises have been incubated, 3 national-level specialized, special and new small giant enterprises have been incubated, 13 companies have been shortlisted in the list of the first batch of listed reserve enterprises of new R&D institutions in Hefei, and 3 companies have entered the listing counseling period (5 in Hefei), ranking first in the number of finalists among all new R&D institutions in Hefei.
In the next step, Hefei Innovation Institute will thoroughly implement the innovation-driven development strategy of "deploying the innovation chain around the industrial chain and laying out the industrial chain around the innovation chain", fully connect with the original innovation resources, and build a first-class new R&D institution and industrial technology innovation center in China.
The cultivation and growth of new quality productivity requires not only the construction of a modern industrial system, but also the strong support of a "self-reliant" scientific and technological innovation system. Represented by Hefei Innovation Institute, Hefei High-tech Zone has recruited scientific and technological innovation resources from all over the world, actively built a high-quality innovation platform, and has introduced more than 20 new R&D institutions led by well-known universities and scientific research institutes such as Wuhan University and Fudan University, introducing a steady stream of "living water" for scientific and technological innovation.
