A few days ago, Wuling Motors officially announced the interior details of its first new energy dual-power SUV - Wuling Xingguang S. The car is positioned as a compact SUV and adopts two power modes: pure electric and plug-in hybrid. One vehicle with two powers, able to provide users with a variety of choices.
Based on the advantages of the new energy native architecture, the body length * width * height of the Wuling Xingguang S reaches 4745mm*1890mm*1680mm, and the super A-class body size brings ultra-spacious interior riding space; With a wheelbase of 2,800 mm, the size has a certain advantage in the same price range.
Appearance: Wuling Starlight S follows the naming form of Wuling Starlight, as well as the appearance design. The new car is equipped with a split headlight module, and the front daytime running lights are shaped a bit like a brush blade. The front end of the car has a closed design, and the EV and plug-in hybrid versions share a common design language, but the shape of the air intakes at the front bumper and the shape of the chrome trim are different.
The body has a streamlined design that enhances the overall aesthetic of the body by rounding all the edges towards the back. At the rear, the Wuling Starlight S is equipped with figure-7 taillights and a rear camera above the roof spoiler. In the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's optional declaration list, there is also a 360 camera at the rearview mirror position, and the new car is expected to provide a 360° panoramic image.
In addition, the body color is available in four shining star colors: Star White, Star Blue, Star Gray, and Star Shimmer Gold.
Interior: The overall space layout is reasonable, with a wrap-around cockpit design, which is spacious and comfortable. The interior is equipped with three cool colors: light sand, black and coconut palm, which meets the aesthetic needs of the public.
In terms of power: Wuling Xingguang S will provide plug-in hybrid/pure electric dual power options, of which the plug-in hybrid version is equipped with a power combination of 1.5L engine + motor, with an engine power of 78kW, matched with a 20.5kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack, and a pure electric range of about 60 kilometers. The pure electric model is a front-mounted single motor with a motor power of 150kW, matched with a 60kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack, and has a pure electric range of 510km.
