His father could only take Zhouzhou to work in the orchestra every day, Zhouzhou had a gentle temperament, and never made trouble in his father's place of work, and he quietly enjoyed it when the orchestra rehearsed and performed.
In this way, since he was two or three years old, Zhou Zhou has been soaking in the rehearsal hall with his father every day, he is like a table and chair randomly placed there, and everyone has long been accustomed to his presence.
In such an environment, music entered his life, just as the sun and rain are to all things in the world, and the boat, which he had been exposed to since childhood, slowly "grew" into his body and became a part of his life.
After a long time, Zhou Zhou even has his own "special" seat, his seat is on the side of the stage, and he can commute to and from work on time every day like the rest of the orchestra, and he can watch every move of the orchestra conductor.

In 1997, Zhang Yiqing, a documentary director of Hubei TV Station, discovered a boat outside the symphony orchestra hall by chance, which aroused his curiosity and attention.
After understanding Zhouzhou's situation and background, Zhouzhou's serious and focused expression and self-taught command ability deeply attracted him. He couldn't suppress the excitement in his heart, and wanted to present such a "genius conductor" that no one cared about in front of everyone.
When he told Hu Houpei about the idea of filming Zhouzhou, Hu Houpei was hesitant, he was worried that exposing his son to the public would have a bad impact on his son's life.
But thinking that his son's experience and story may be able to arouse the public's attention to special groups, which can be regarded as a value and contribution, Hu Houpei recognized Zhang Yiqing's idea of choreographing and directing and agreed to shoot the boat.
After 10 months of follow-up interviews and shooting, a total of 2,000 minutes of footage were recorded, and finally a 60-minute TV documentary "The World of Zhouzhou" was born.
Because of Zhouzhou's special mental structure, when facing the camera, there is no timidity and artificiality of ordinary people, and Zhouzhou under the lens is completely real and real in life, and there is no need to deliberately design, which invisibly strengthens the documentary style of the documentary.
As soon as the documentary was broadcast, it immediately had a huge response. In January 1999, Zhou Zhou put on a tuxedo and performed with the famous Symphony Orchestra of the National Ballet of China at the Poly Theater in Beijing.
In 2000, Schwarzenegger, who walked hand in hand with Zhouzhou into the Great Hall of the People in Beijing at the Special Olympics China Charity Gala, was moved by Zhouzhou's legendary musical life and donated $150,000 on the spot. Now Zhouzhou is 46 years old, his mother passed away in 2006, and donated his cornea to repay the society, thanking the society for its attention and care.
Now Zhouzhou works with his father Hu Houpei in a private art troupe for the disabled in Shenzhen, and the two live in a single room of more than 10 square meters. Because there are very few performances received, the income is also very small, and I basically live on subsistence.
Hu Houpei is also in his 80s, and he often worries about how Zhouzhou's life will be arranged if he dies soon. But he said that as long as he was alive, he would be responsible for his son to the end.
