Recently
Weining Autonomous County has vigorously built a waste-to-energy project, which converts the heat energy generated in the process of waste incineration into kinetic energy and then into electricity, so that the waste can be "reborn" and accumulate new momentum for green development
Since the Weining Autonomous County Waste-to-energy Project was put into operation in March 2021, it has collected and stored 917,800 tons of domestic waste in Weining and Hezhang counties, incinerated waste-to-energy generation of 291.625 million kWh, on-grid electricity of 246.709 million kWh, and saved more than 20 tons of standard coal
It has achieved the goal of "village collection, town transfer, county treatment" and "total incineration and zero landfill" of domestic waste, and "eaten, dry and squeezed clean" garbage resources to "contribute to the construction of beautiful Weining"
