On June 27, the 2024 Suzhou-Shaanxi Cooperation Joint Conference of New Taipei-Langao was held. Zhou Qing, Secretary of the District Party Working Committee and Secretary of the District Party Committee, and Wei Xiaolin, Secretary of the Langao County Party Committee, attended the meeting and delivered speeches.
Zhou Qing welcomed the arrival of the party and government delegation of Langao County and congratulated He Langao County on its achievements in economic and social development in recent years. He said that although New Taipei and Langao are thousands of miles apart, since the twinning in 2017, the two places have cooperated sincerely and closely, carried out multi-level and multi-field cooperation and exchanges, and formed a deep friendship. In the future, it is necessary to further deepen the cooperation between the two places, make greater efforts to consolidate the achievements of poverty alleviation, carry out deeper cooperation, exchanges and joint construction, promote economic and social development with higher quality, and promote counterpart cooperation to achieve greater achievements and reach a higher level.
On behalf of Langao County, Wei Xiaolin expressed his sincere gratitude to our district for its long-term support. He said that since 2017, Xinbei District has provided strong support to Langao in the fields of project construction, talent exchange, financial assistance, and investment promotion, and has made important contributions to Langao winning the battle against poverty, consolidating the achievements of poverty alleviation, and promoting rural revitalization. It is hoped that with the help of the resource advantages of Xinbei District such as information, technology, talents, industry and market demand, it will further promote counterpart assistance, continue to strengthen docking and exchanges, do a good job in industrial cooperation, and strengthen consumption assistance.
At the meeting, Menghe Town and Nangongshan Town, Xuejia Town and Chengguan Town, Luoxi Town and Minmin Town, Longhutang Street and Zuolong Town respectively signed a town (street) twinning agreement, Langao County Vocational Education Center and Changzhou Chengming Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. signed an agreement on the integration of production and education, and Langao County People's Government signed a cooperation agreement with Dinosaur Park Group.
Since the launch of the cooperation between Jiangsu and Shaanxi in 2017, New Taipei and Langao have conscientiously implemented the decision-making and deployment of east-west cooperation, and carried out solid assistance in the fields of talent exchange, fund use, industrial cooperation, and labor cooperation. In the past 7 years, a total of 210 projects of various types have been supported, and more than 20 Jiangsu enterprises have been guided to settle in Langao, driving the local people to steadily increase their income and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
