The "Happy Canteen" located in the Happiness Compound of Yuchang Community, Dahe Township, Sunan County, wafted out the aroma of food, and Uncle An, who was in his 80s, said with a smile. In recent years, Yuchang Community in Dahe Township has established a community (village) canteen for the elderly by creating a "doorstep" meal service model for the elderly, extending the warmth of home to the community and farming and animal husbandry villages.
Happy canteen + health service. The "Happy Canteen" gives priority to the nutritional and taste needs of the elderly, and formulates healthy recipes with less oil, less salt, low sugar, and soft glutinous, and each meal is very varied. At the same time, in order to ensure the health and safety of the elderly, the internal facilities of the canteen are designed in accordance with the requirements of standardized standards, to create a bright kitchen, standardize the standards of dining service and food hygiene, strictly implement the publicity system and food safety management system, take the initiative to accept social supervision, and carry out safety inspections with market supervision, fire protection and other departments from time to time, so that the elderly can eat at ease, comfortably and at ease.
Happy canteen + Huimin service. "We use face recognition technology, and after the elderly who come to dine register for the first time, they can directly swipe their faces to pay for meals in the future, without the need to carry relevant documents, which provides great convenience for the elderly to dine." Chen Feng, the person in charge of the "Happy Canteen", said. On this basis, the government implements two different dining standards for different groups of the elderly, A and B. A meal subsidy of 8 yuan per day will be given to those over 60 years old (including 60 years old) who are scattered and supported by the extremely poor, the elderly over 60 years old who are disabled, demented and severely disabled in the first and second grades, the elderly over 70 years old who live alone and those who live alone in urban and rural subsistence allowance and low-income families, and the elderly over 80 years old. Preferential prices for other elderly people will be implemented. Fully considering the special situation of some elderly people, solving problems such as inconvenient mobility, and also carrying out meal delivery services, giving a meal delivery subsidy of 3 yuan per meal. So far, the "Happy Canteen" has served more than 1,800 elderly people and delivered more than 600 meals to the door.
Happy canteen + intimate service. It is worth mentioning that in addition to providing daily dining services, the "Happy Canteen" of Yuchang Community in Dahe Township also innovates and supports the diversified functional scenarios of "Meal Assistance+", with supporting facilities such as convalescent rooms, leisure activity rooms, and home-based elderly care meal centers. Some of the old people sat around chatting, some were playing chess and cards, some were chatting and watching TV, and the courtyard was full of laughter and happiness. "Happy Canteen" not only solves the problem of "difficulty in buying vegetables, cooking and eating" for the elderly, especially those who live alone and the elderly, but also enriches their spiritual and cultural life, so that the elderly can "warm their stomachs" and "warm their hearts".
In the next step, Sunan County will continue to improve the construction of the pension service system, continue to promote the "happy canteen" project to benefit the people, and provide warm stomach and heart-warming life services for the elderly with heart and affection, so that the vast number of farmers and herdsmen can enjoy the dividends brought by common prosperity, so that more elderly people can "eat" a sense of happiness.
