After 7 years, the world-renowned Shenzhong Passage has finally been officially opened to traffic!

As the core transportation hub project of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, this golden artery with a total length of about 24 kilometers and a design speed of 100 km/h will closely unite the east and west banks of the Pearl River with one bridge.
Starting from Zhongshan, along the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Passage to the east across the Pearl River Estuary, you can reach Shenzhen!

On June 11, 2023, the entire line of the Shenzhong Passage Undersea Tunnel was closed.
On November 28, 2023, the main line of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor will be completed.
On March 3, 2024, the Shenzhong Passage entered the construction stage of the tunnel pavement project.
On April 13, 2024, the bridge load test stage will be entered.
On June 16, 2024, the delivery and acceptance of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor was passed.
At the end of June 2024, the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor will be officially opened to traffic.

At the same time, in order to connect with the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor, Zhongshan has promoted the optimization and upgrading of the transportation network in an all-round way, and gradually formed a comprehensive three-dimensional transportation network of "sea, land, air and rail"!
A number of cross-city transportation construction projects in Shenzhen and China have also been opened to traffic with the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor, and the "sea, land, air and rail" are going hand in hand!
Among them, in terms of land routes, the 129.7-kilometer-long Zhongkai Expressway is open to traffic simultaneously with the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Passage!
The six entrances and exits, 4 toll stations and 1 service area of the Zhongshan section have been officially opened for operation.
Shenzhen-Zhongshan cross-city bus has also been arranged online, two cross-city bus lines officially opened at 3 pm today, the lowest is only 15 yuan, 45 minutes direct!
The first batch of 20 Shenzhen-Zhongshan shuttle buses have been put in place, and the Shenzhen-Zhongshan channel will be opened simultaneously, which will travel between the distribution center and Shenzhen Airport, 24 hours a day, and the lowest preferential price is only 29.9 yuan!
In addition, the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Airport has also been officially opened, and it only takes 50 minutes to travel to Shenzhen Bao'an Airport through the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor.
In terms of waterways, the new passenger terminal of Zhongshan Port has also been completed and put into use!
It is understood that the new Zhongshan Passenger Port is positioned as a national first-class port, with 6 overseas berths, 4 domestic trade berths and 2 maintenance berths, and will open routes to Hong Kong City, Hong Kong Airport and Macao Airport.

In terms of tracks, the construction of the Shenjiang Railway is accelerating!
At present, the construction of 4 bids in the Zhongshan section is speeding up the construction of the project, and it is expected to be completed and opened to traffic in 2028!
At that time, it will only take 25 minutes from Zhongshan North Railway Station to Shenzhen Airport, which will greatly shorten the commuting time and shorten the distance between Shenzhen and China.
The provincial government has included the planning and construction of the Shennan Intercity into the "Development Plan for the West Bank of the Pearl River Estuary", and the project pre-feasibility study report and 5 supporting special studies have formed phased results!
After the completion of the project, it will only take 15 minutes from Zhongshan Cuiheng New District (Xiangshan Station) to Shenzhen Bao'an Airport.
In terms of air access, the first commercial cross-sea low-altitude logistics route in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area was opened on April 12 this year.
In addition, the two cities of Shenzhen and China will also work together to apply for the opening of a manned low-altitude route from Shenzhen to Zhongshan, which will be able to "fly" to Shenzhen!
