Recently, the Yangpu Maritime Safety Administration has carefully planned and organized a series of theme activities to care for seafarers and optimize the business environment. Through diversified service measures, we will further enhance the safety awareness of seafarers and enhance the recognition and care of the society for the seafarers' profession.
In order to create a strong festive atmosphere, Yangpu Maritime Safety Bureau made full use of the advantages of maritime culture, hoisted flags on Pujiang crew service stations, patrol boats and ships arriving at the port, and widely publicized the celebration of "World Seafarers' Day", so that more port and shipping enterprises and the public can understand, pay attention to and care for seafarers, and jointly promote the spread and development of maritime culture.
In terms of caring for the health of seafarers, Yangpu Maritime Safety Bureau has worked closely with the Binjiang Joint Party Committee of Pingliang Community in Yangpu District, Pingliang Road Street Federation of Trade Unions and other units to provide convenient services such as free health clinics and medical emergency services for seafarers at the Pujiang Seafarer Service Station. Through professional health examination and consultation, the hidden health hazards of the crew are eliminated in time to protect their physical and mental health.
In terms of legal services, the Yangpu Maritime Safety Bureau gives full play to the advantages of the water public legal service workstation, and the team of "legal experts" with public lawyers as the core provides legal advice and assistance to crew members and their families in civil disputes and economic compensation. This initiative effectively solves the legal problems encountered by seafarers in work and life, and further enhances their legal awareness and ability to protect their rights.
In terms of improving the safety awareness of seafarers, Yangpu Maritime Safety Bureau organized party members and pioneers to set up a "safety lecture hall" at the Pujiang seafarer service station to popularize laws and regulations for seafarers, and answered the safety issues concerned by seafarers in detail by explaining typical cases and distributing safety publicity materials. These activities not only enhance the safety awareness of the crew, but also lay a solid foundation for ensuring the safety of people and ships.
In addition, the Yangpu Maritime Safety Bureau also gave full play to its business advantages and organized the "Lanhui" women's team to provide endorsement services for documents such as "Logbook" for incoming and outgoing ships. This convenient measure effectively solves the difficult problems of "running in different places" and "turning back" of ships, and continuously optimizes the business environment.
