In this regard, the mainland has carried out "punishment" on Taiwan in various fields such as military and economic, which has also made many countries in the world see our determination to safeguard national reunification and have expressed their resolute support for China's approach.
1. Many countries have unequivocally supported China
Russia, which is also one of the countries sanctioned by the United States and sanctions, and is also our friendly partner, has become more and more clear on the Taiwan issue.
As early as the beginning of 2024, when Russian President Vladimir Putin visited China, he said that "Taiwan is an inalienable part of China." ”
After the mainland imposed all-round punishment on Taiwan this year, the world has also seen our determination and strength to safeguard national reunification, so many countries in the world have made it clear that they will support our approach of safeguarding national reunification.
On 28 May, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi visited the mainland, and although his arrival lasted only three days, Sisi not only took the initiative to mention the Taiwan issue, but also expressed his full support for China's realization of national reunification.
When Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi visited the mainland, he was accompanied by Tunisian President Saied, who openly expressed his support for the mainland's exercise of sovereignty, even though it was his first visit to the mainland.
On 4 June, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid a state visit to the mainland, and he explicitly opposes any form of Taiwan independence.
When the mainland pays state visits to other countries, it has also been recognized and supported by other countries on the Taiwan issue.
On June 18, the mainland sent a representative to visit Malaysia, and Malaysian President Anwar Ibrahim said that he would not support any Taiwan independence activities, which also showed Malaysia's sincerity on issues involving the mainland's territory and sovereignty.
Even the Philippines, which had a conflict with us some time ago, openly expressed its respect for our behavior in safeguarding national unity.
The public statements, words and deeds of these countries have also shown us the direction of public opinion in the world and the attitude toward the mainland's recovery of Taiwan, but there are still some countries that continue to stumble us, the most conspicuous of which are the United States and Japan.
Second, the United States and Japan, which are stumbling behind them
When the conflict broke out between Russia and Ukraine, the United States not only openly supported Ukraine, but also provided it with a steady stream of military weapons and equipment.
Moreover, it has also joined forces with many European countries to impose economic sanctions on Russia, which has caused a sharp decline in the Russian economy.
Now, seeing that the mainland is troubled by the Taiwan issue, the United States has begun to make a big fuss about the Taiwan issue again.
The United States has not only sent a large number of arms dealers to sell weapons to Taiwan, but has also instigated the Taiwan authorities to continue confrontation with the mainland.
At the instigation of the United States, Lai Ching-te, who is the leader of the Taiwan authorities, not only made remarks about Taiwan independence, but even forbade Taiwan compatriots from participating in cross-strait exchange meetings, preventing the establishment of contacts between the mainland and Taiwan compatriots.
Japan and our country have had two major wars in history, one was the Sino-Japanese War that broke out between China and Japan in 1895, and the other was the Japanese war of aggression against China in 1931.
Japan's two wars against the mainland not only killed many innocent people on the mainland, but also brought huge economic losses and injuries to the Chinese people.
Now, with the improvement of the mainland's comprehensive strength, Japan is even more jealous, and it wants to make a stumbling block for the mainland and prevent the mainland's further development.
Today, as an ally of the United States, Japan is even more consistent with the United States on many issues, and Taro Aso, as the former prime minister of Japan, has openly stated: "If there is something wrong with Taiwan, there is something wrong with Japan." ”
Such remarks are actually intended to show that Japan will stand firmly with Taiwan, which will make the already fragile Sino-Japanese relations even worse, and make all Chinese people indignant.
At the World Health Organization General Assembly in May this year, the United States and Japan again proposed that Taiwan participate as a guest.
In the face of such "separatist acts", China will not agree, and neither will the World Health Organization, so the World Health Organization vetoes such a request.
3. The reunification of the motherland is unstoppable
On 25 June, the mainland's Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a press conference, at which Mao Ning, spokeswoman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said that Taiwan is an inalienable part of the motherland's territory, and at the same time resolutely countered the Taiwan independence remarks made by Taiwan independence elements.
At the same time, Mao Ning also made a clear refutation of the US interference in the internal affairs of the mainland, and demanded that the United States strictly abide by the commitments made when China and the United States established diplomatic relations.
The statement made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the mainland not only shows our determination to safeguard the motherland, but also proves that no force can stop our decision to realize the reunification of the motherland.
As a matter of fact, with the improvement of the mainland's comprehensive national strength in recent years, we are fully capable of recovering Taiwan, and in particular, the mainland's military strength has increased by a large margin, so that we have the ability to recover Taiwan by armed force.
However, Taiwan and the mainland are of the same language and species, and we hope that Taiwan will return to the motherland, so we have always been committed to striving for the reunification of the motherland in a peaceful way.
However, if Taiwan independence elements continue to run rampant and continue to collude with the United States and other external forces, then we will absolutely not give up the use of force to safeguard the territorial integrity of the motherland.
The military exercises conducted by the People's Liberation Army (PLA) in the Taiwan Strait some time ago have also proved that we have absolute strength to recover Taiwan.
The enhancement of China's comprehensive strength and our clear-cut attitude on the Taiwan issue have also made many countries in the world see our determination and strength to safeguard national territorial integrity.
Therefore, Egypt, Pakistan and many other countries will resolutely support the mainland's act of safeguarding national sovereignty and will resolutely oppose Taiwan independence.
However, in order to prevent the rise of the mainland, Japan and the United States, which are next door, have thought of using Taiwan to contain our development, and this will make a big fuss about the Taiwan issue one after another.
This has also given Taiwan's Taiwan independence forces the courage to fight with the mainland of the motherland, but our determination to safeguard the motherland's reunification will not change, and if the Taiwan independence forces still do not have a clear understanding of the situation, then we will certainly resolutely strike at them.
