Anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder cure: 2 methods, 1 case, keep doing it and you can recover completely

My illness and recovery

When I was in my third year of junior high school, I developed obsessive-compulsive symptoms, and my academic performance began to decline. Previously, out of more than 100 students, I often ranked first in my grades. Obsessive-compulsive disorder frustrated my studies, but I managed to get into high school. When I entered high school, I mistook it for a nervous breakdown, and I frequently received acupuncture and Chinese medicine, but to no avail. In this way, I spent three years of high school in a daze, and my results in the college entrance examination were not satisfactory. I felt that obsessive-compulsive disorder made it difficult for me to study with peace of mind, so I gave up going to university and entered the society. By chance, I learned that I was suffering from obsessive-compulsive disorder, and I began to establish a correct understanding through continuous understanding.

Even though OCD kept me out of college, I never felt resentment. Whether it is during my illness or after recovery, it has perfected my personality, made me more accepting of myself, and strengthened my mental capacity. In fact, as long as the pain does not knock us down, then it must have a positive meaning. If you only see the pain caused by OCD, it will be difficult for you to recover because you will resist it. When you are grateful for the compulsion, discover its positive meaning, and learn the correct cognition, you will gradually and truly accept and encourage you!

Next, I would like to share my experience on the road to recovery from OCD.

1. Fighting compulsion in confusion and struggle

This is the beginning stage of OCD, and because I don't know that I have OCD, I treat it only on the basis of past misconceptions and resist it. Living in panic every day, when the obsessive-compulsive symptoms are particularly severe, even sweating profusely, more than 70% of the time every day is spent thinking and fighting, life is completely disrupted, and it is very appropriate to use "The Walking Dead" to describe his state. The more painful it is, the more it is longing to get rid of it, and the more you rely on your thinking and self-reflection to resist compulsion, however, it is often in vain. At this time, patients will feel that life is extremely dark, have no confidence in life, and think about how to solve the pain all day long. Sometimes, certain methods do work for a short time to reduce fear and anxiety, but often not long after, they fall back into OCD!

Any act of motivation, if it is for the purpose of recovery, is essentially a form of resistance and will make OCD worse. Understanding OCD is not for treatment, but for the sake of building the right cognition!

One day, I suddenly knew that I had obsessive-compulsive disorder, and I would be even more panicked in my heart, and I began to frantically read various information on the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder. Whenever I see negative information, I feel more and more uneasy.

The duration of OCD at this stage varies from person to person, some may be as long as 10 or 20 years, and as short as at least a few months. I'm in this phase for about three years. This stage is a must for people with OCD, because only by personally experiencing, touching and perceiving the meaninglessness of confrontation, when entering the second stage to understand OCD, it is possible to accept. Otherwise, even if what others say is true, it is difficult to believe it, and they always feel that their symptoms are special and that they can eliminate OCD through confrontation. I think this stage is painful, but it is also positive.

When the obsessive-compulsive symptoms persist for a long time, realize the futility of resistance, and then through continuous self-learning about obsessive-compulsive disorder, mindfulness and Morita therapy, they will naturally be able to understand what acceptance is and how to achieve it. Knowing how to accept and no longer resist, recovery is no longer far away.

2. Crazy learning about obsessive-compulsive disorder

After learning that he had obsessive-compulsive disorder, he began to learn about it. However, some patients are able to take the initiative to understand at first, but as they go deeper, they begin to be afraid, afraid of generalization of obsessive-compulsive symptoms, afraid that they will not be able to get rid of it for a lifetime, and are unwilling to admit that they are obsessive-compulsive disorder. At the same time, reading too many articles on OCD, I feel that my mind is more confused, so I choose to escape, no longer take the initiative to understand OCD knowledge, but fight OCD in this way.

During the counseling process, as far as I know, more than 90% of OCD survivors recover through a lot of learning about OCD and taking positive actions. Few people who are unaware of OCD and their symptoms recover. Therefore, I suggest that those patients who choose to avoid and actively understand OCD should understand it with fear, because only by truly understanding OCD, understanding Morita therapy, knowing the causes of symptoms, and understanding what kind of mentality and way to treat OCD, can they recover. Moreover, this kind of understanding and advice is systematic, don't just read some information on the post bar or the Internet, it is better to buy some books to understand OCD in depth and comprehensively.

I was able to recover through the practice of Anapana and Ajna. I have read the two books "Overcoming Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder" and "Emotional Self-Help" no less than ten times, and each time I read it, I have a different harvest. I continued to practice the method in the book every day, and eventually I recovered.

I believe that patients who have read the knowledge of obsessive-compulsive disorder know that if they want to recover, they can never do without the word "acceptance". How to achieve acceptance? What to accept? These are not things at the level of truth, but can only be truly achieved through continuous experience and experience, and then through continuous practice and action. This is also the biggest help given to me by the two books "Overcoming Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder" and "Emotional Self-Help", that is, the eight important words that specifically guided me to accept and practice Morita Therapy - "go with the flow and do what you should do".

At the end, I suggest that patients read these two books and practice according to the methods in the books, I believe that you will be able to get out of obsessive-compulsive disorder and anxiety disorder like me. Bless all patients!
