1. Fireproof plugging application area

Fireproof plugging is used in the whole line of ventilation, water supply and drainage, dynamic lighting professional pipelines through holes, and the fireproof plugging materials applied include intumescent fireproof sealant, elastic fireproof sealant, fireproof coating board system, etc.

Application area: metal water pipes pass through fireproof partition walls, fireproof partition walls, and floor slabs; With insulated air duct through fireproof partition walls, fireproof partition walls, and floor slabs; Cables and cable trays pass through fireproof partition walls, fireproof partition walls, and floor slabs; Fireproof plugging of electrical panel cables through holes such as floor slabs.

3. Technical requirements for fireproof plugging

1) Fire resistance: meet the design requirements of fire aging.

2) Long-term service performance: The subway is an important building, and the fireproof plugging materials used should have stable fire resistance within the service life as long as possible, so as to reduce the number of replacements and reduce the long-term comprehensive cost. The long-term effectiveness of fireproof plugging materials should not be less than 30 years, and a third-party authoritative test report should be provided.

3) Halogen-free: fireproof plugging materials shall not contain halogens and other components that are easy to cause corrosion of cables and equipment (general content< 0.01%), and provide a third-party authoritative test report.

4) Smoke tightness and air tightness: Metro personnel and electrical equipment are dense and sensitive to smoke, and the fireproof plugging material should have good smoke tightness and air tightness, and provide a test report from a third-party authority.

5) Construction simplicity: in order to facilitate the expansion of the cable in the later stage, the fireproof plugging material should be convenient for the secondary crossing of the cable.

4. The method of fireproof plugging node in typical crossing mode

According to some typical working conditions of the subway, several typical crossing blocking methods are determined, and the node diagram is detailed. For detailed node practices and other special working conditions, the construction plan and drawings must be issued by the contractor and signed and approved by the design before the construction can be carried out.

1) Typical crossing nodes of metal water pipes

(1) The metal water pipe passes through the node of the fireproof partition wall (fireproof partition wall).

Description of construction method:

a. Before installation, the gap between the shrinkage hole and the circumference should not be greater than 50mm.

b. Clean the perimeter of the orifice and penetrating materials to make it dry and free of dust and debris;

c. Stuff mineral wool between the pipe and the hole wall as needed, and the density of mineral wool is not less than 100kg/m3.

d. Apply an elastic fireproof sealant to the backing material and smooth the surface before the material hardens.

(2) The metal water pipe passes through the fireproof floor node

a. Before installation, the gap between the shrinkage hole and the circumference should not be greater than 50mm.

Description of construction method:

a. Before installation, the gap between the shrinkage hole and the circumference should not be greater than 30mm.

Description of construction method:

c. Stuff mineral wool between the pipe and the hole wall as needed, and the density of mineral wool is not less than 100kg/m3.

d. Apply intumescent fireproof sealant to the backing material and smooth the surface before the material hardens.

3) Typical crossing nodes of cable bundles

a. Before installation, the gap between the shrinkage hole and the circumference should not be greater than 50mm.

b. Clean the perimeter of the orifice and penetrating materials to make it dry and free of dust and debris;

c. Tightly fill the mineral wool between the hole wall and the cable, and the density of the mineral wool is not less than 100kg/m3.

d. Coated intumescent fireproof sealant in the gap between the cables on both sides;

4) Typical crossing nodes of cable tray (electrical panel cabinet).

(1) The cable tray passes through the fireproof partition wall node

Fireproof plugging method

Description of construction method:

a. Before installation, clean the perimeter and penetrating objects of the orifice to make them dry and free of dust and debris;

b. Measure the size of the hole, cut the fireproof coating board according to the size and the shape of the bridge;

c. Coat elastic fireproof sealant around the mineral wool board, and buckle the fireproof coating board into the cable tray or the gap between the cable and the hole wall;

d. Use elastic fireproof sealant to seal the gaps between cables, between cables and bridges, and between cables and mineral wool boards;

e. Apply fireproof paint twice on the 200mm extension cables on both sides of the wall.

(2) The cable tray passes through the fireproof partition wall node

a. Before installation, clean the perimeter and penetrating objects of the orifice to make them dry and free of dust and debris;

b. Measure the size of the hole, cut the fireproof coating board according to the size and the shape of the bridge;

c. Coat elastic fireproof sealant around the mineral wool board, and buckle the fireproof coating board into the cable tray or the gap between the cable and the hole wall;

d. Use elastic fireproof sealant to seal the gaps between cables, between cables and bridges, and between cables and mineral wool boards;

e. Apply fireproof paint twice on the 200mm extension cables on both sides of the wall.

(3) The cable tray (electrical panel cable) passes through the fireproof floor node

a. Before installation, clean the perimeter and penetrating objects of the orifice to make them dry and free of dust and debris;

b. Measure the size of the hole, cut the fireproof coating board according to the size and the shape of the bridge;

c. Coat elastic fireproof sealant around the mineral wool board, and buckle the fireproof coating board into the cable tray or the gap between the cable and the hole wall;

d. Use elastic fireproof sealant to seal the gaps between cables, between cables and bridges, and between cables and mineral wool boards;

e. Apply fireproof paint twice on the 200mm extension cable on the underside of the floor slab.
