With Marinade Lindelof also likely moving away from Varane this week, United are considering renewing the Northern Ireland international's contract to secure a number of centre-backs.

Plettenburg explained: "Bayern want to complete the transfer as soon as possible because many clubs still want to cut off the club, including Manchester United. But Olise's choice is clear, and he is already determined to sign with Bayern until 2029. There are still some details to be sorted out between the two clubs, Bayern Munich and Crystal Palace, and the medical examinations were supposed to be completed last week and are now scheduled for this week."
German media photographed Ollise flying to Munich and driving a red Audi, and it is expected that he could undergo a medical examination with Bayern as early as Monday.
Olise has already been selected for Thierry Henry's French Olympic team and will compete in the 2024 Olympics in Paris, so he is sure to miss the rest of the competition, and Bayern are in no hurry to complete everything immediately.
