According to Jin Yuzhi, since the establishment of Huawei's intelligent vehicle solution BU in 2019, the cumulative R&D investment has exceeded 30 billion yuan, and the number of R&D personnel has reached 7,000. At present, it is in a period of rapid growth, with more than 3 million sets of smart components shipped in 2023, 7 strategic cooperation models on the market, and more than 300 upstream and downstream partners in the industrial chain.

In the first half of smart electric vehicles, the competition is electrification, and the second half is intelligence. In just a few years, Huawei has successively launched industry solutions such as HarmonyOS cockpit, smart projection headlights, and Huawei ADS intelligent driving system.

At present, the domestic smart electric vehicle market is also enough! Previously, Yu Chengdong, executive director of Huawei, chairman of the terminal BG, and chairman of the intelligent vehicle solution BU, said that this industry is too volatile, and Huawei's high-end intelligent driving with a price of less than 300,000 yuan is sold at a loss. However, in the case of loss, Huawei still announced a price reduction of 6,000 yuan for Qiankun intelligent driving, which shows that the competition in the domestic intelligent driving market is fierce.
