After the OTA upgrade of EXEED OS 1.2.0 on May 20th, ES has been officially equipped with NEP City Navigation Assist (Beta). The NEP city navigation assistance pushed this time covers Shanghai (some areas) and Wuhu, and realizes the navigation assistance capability of urban roads through 30 high-performance sensors including ultra-long-range high-precision lidar, high-precision millimeter-wave radar and high-definition cameras, dual NVIDIA Orin-X chips with 508TOPS computing power, and omnidirectional perception fusion algorithms.
Drive the Epoch ES on city roads, set up navigation, activate the city navigation assistance, and you can get a "veteran driver" with superb driving skills. The vehicle will follow the navigation route to realize functions such as centering and following the vehicle, lever/navigation lane change, and intersection traffic. In the face of more complex traffic situations, ES can also autonomously complete functions such as unprotected turning, traffic light recognition/start and stop, active lane change and overtaking, obstacle recognition and avoidance. FCTA Forward Traffic Warning + HPA Memory Parking was launched to create a safer and more convenient travel experience
In view of the congested and complex traffic environment in the city, Epoch ES has brought the FCTA front traffic crossing warning function after the OTA upgrade. This function uses sensors on the outside of the vehicle to form a safety warning area in front and on both sides, facing pedestrians and vehicles passing in front of the vehicle at low speeds, issuing warnings for potential collision risks, reminding the driver to brake in time to ensure driving safety.
In the process of daily travel, parking must be an unavoidable operation, and the addition of the HPA memory parking function has brought the parking experience of the ES to a new height. Through this function, Epoch ES can learn and save the user's parking path, and according to the memorized path, Epoch ES can independently complete parking in the parking lot while the user is in the car. In the process of parking, users can also choose the parking spaces on the driving path for parking, further improving the parking efficiency.
Most importantly, the Epoch ES can memorize up to 10 routes, and a single memorable route can be up to 2km. The use scenarios of HPA memory parking are not only limited to residential areas and company parking lots, but also frequent shopping malls and parks that allow Epoch ES to remember and park autonomously, which truly improves the convenience of travel.
