If you open the column:

75 years of wind and rain, 75 years of spring and autumn. Over the past 75 years since the founding of the People's Republic of China, the City of Heroes has kept pace with the pulse of the times, walked with the development of the motherland, and made remarkable and brilliant achievements in various economic and social fields. From now on, this newspaper will launch the column "On the Journey Forward", which comprehensively displays the spirit of the people of Nanchang and the ever-changing development and changes of the city by revisiting the past years and telling the stories around them, and gathers the majestic force of overcoming difficulties and continuing to struggle and unite to achieve high-quality development.

"If you don't go to Xie Bu Street, you don't count as having been to Nanchang."

In 1949, the guns of the liberation of Nanchang were fired here, known as the "Battle of Xiebu" in history, and in the flames of war and gunsmoke, it announced the advent of a great era.

In 75 years, the world has changed over time, and the years have passed. The once lively street market relied on a needle and thread to weave a knitting "world factory", realizing the magnificent "butterfly change" from a thousand-year-old town to a city living room.

A knitwear: a small workshop breaks into a big industry

Xie Bu, Luojia Town, which was born by the water, was once an important place for transportation along the Fuhe River. In the past, there were many merchants, shops, merchant ships, and busy trade.

At the end of the 70s of the last century, cotton and linen harvested year after year, and the Luo family, who had a keen sense of business, began to set their sights on the knitting industry. In the following ten years, large and small cotton spinning factories sprung up on the land of Luojia, and a large number of farmers entered the factory to eat "industrial rice".

Hu Daqing, a native of the Luo family, is one of them. "I entered a knitting factory at the age of 18, and I ate and lived in the factory, rushing to do heavy work and tiring work, and took the initiative to help the master to help, just to learn more skills." Relying on his diligent energy, Hu Daqing quickly mastered the skills of cutting, ironing, sewing and other aspects of garment making.

In 1998, facing the tide of market economic system reform, Hu Daqing, like many sincere young people, enthusiastically "went to the sea" and embarked on a journey of entrepreneurship. "With 200,000 yuan in my pocket, I took 30 workers to set up a small garment workshop in a 200-square-meter house." Hu Daqing recalled that relying on an order of 50,000 cultural shirts outside the province, his workshop was successfully opened.

With the growing enthusiasm of Hong Kong businessmen for investment in the mainland, Hu Daqing, together with many local knitting entrepreneurs, shipped the cultural shirts to Shenzhen through the spot model, and then resold them to Hong Kong merchants. With cheap and high-quality round-neck cultural shirts, Qingshan Lake Knitting quickly became famous. The saying that "three export cultural shirts, one from Luojiaji" has spread far and wide.

Although Nanchang needle spinning started early and developed rapidly, with the development of the times, it is gradually facing the dilemma of lack of management, low structural level, low added value of products, and weak independent innovation ability.

Entering the new century, Qingshanhu District actively eliminated backward production capacity, planned and built new projects, built the province's first national textile fabric museum, built China (Jiangxi) Qingshan Lake Modern Knitting Comprehensive Service Center, introduced domestic testing institutions (Jiangxi China Textile Joint Inspection), and promoted the city's knitting enterprises from "fighting for each other" to "agglomeration and development" by completing the chain at both ends of the industry.

"We are a small and micro needle spinning enterprise, with small production capacity and limited funds, and the park provides us with equipment, channels and other resources, which greatly helps us save costs." Qi Xiao is the head of a start-up in China (Jiangxi) Knitting Entrepreneurship Industrial Park, and with the help of the park's matchmaking, he successfully opened the personalized customized domestic trade market.

Clenching your fingers into a fist and developing in a group is the "key" to transformation and upgrading and solving problems. Today, Nanchang's modern knitting industry has formed an industrial layout of "one district, two parks and multiple points" with Qingshan Lake District as the main agglomeration area and the coordinated development of Nanchang County and Anyi County. The family workshops that were dotted with homes have long been replaced by industrial bases. Qingshanhu District has also become the largest knitting and garment industry base in the province and the fourth largest in the country.

One production line: the old industry embraces digitalization

AGV intelligent robots "carry" baskets of semi-finished products and shuttle between various production lines; The cut fabric is quickly transferred through the hanging system; The output of each link is displayed on the electronic screen...... Walking into the garment workshop of Zhongtuo in Qingshan Lake District, the production line full of science and technology comes into view.

Zhongtuo Garment is a third-generation enterprise in Qingshanhu District, and it is also the first enterprise in the district to carry out the transformation of "5G + smart factory". "In 2021, with the support of the government's technical transformation subsidy, we fully upgraded the original workshop-style factory." Qin Jiaqi, executive director of Zhongtuo Garment, said, "A series of intelligent equipment has increased the company's production capacity by more than 30%, and the pass rate of high-end clothing has increased from 50% to 90%. As the third-generation head of the company, Qin Jiaqi is committed to continuing the vitality of traditional industries through digital transformation and promoting the enterprise to leapfrog from "family management" to "smart management".

Not only Zhongtuo Garment, but also in Nanchang, more and more "second generation" and "third generation" are taking over the "baton" in the hands of the older generation of knitting people, and becoming the "new force" and "vanguard" leading the digital development of the knitting industry.

In 2022, Jiangxi Haochi Industrial Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Huaxing Knitting, will invest 1 billion yuan to comprehensively upgrade the 5G smart digital factory to build a national first-class intelligent factory integrating fabric research and development, clothing design, clothing intelligent production, and internal and external sales. "Last year, we invested nearly 2.4 million yuan in the development of the enterprise digital management system to integrate the industrial chain of the entire factory and use the digital system to replace the management for basic management." Wang Zihao, executive director of Huaxing Knitting's "post-90s", revealed that in 2023, the overall output value of the enterprise will increase by about 15.8%, and the output value will be close to 2 billion yuan.

With the advent of the wave of industry 4.0, the upgrade of "intelligent manufacturing" has continued to penetrate in the field of modern knitting industry.

Walking into the China (Jiangxi) Qingshanhu Knitting and Garment Comprehensive Service Center, you only need to stand in front of the AR fitting mirror, point to your favorite clothing style on the screen and select "try on", and you can "change clothes" in one second.

"This is the virtual fitting function of the AR fitting mirror, which is mainly to provide sample viewing and sales supporting services for knitted garment enterprises in the park." Zhou Xi, the person in charge of the service center, said that in order to promote the transformation of traditional advantageous industries to modernization, we have been working hard to explore and innovate for many years.

"Shared Design Center", "Sample Exhibition Center", "Maker Space", ...... In the China (Jiangxi) Qingshan Lake Knitting and Garment Comprehensive Service Center, there are many digital service platforms for knitting enterprises. "In response to the pain points of the transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises, the service center provides upstream and downstream supporting supply chains with the platform as the carrier, and 'tailors' for settled enterprises online, and then restores and makes ready-to-wear clothes offline, and empowers the whole process of clothing design, production and sales through digital twin technology, and broadens the new growth point of the knitting industry." Zhou Xi introduced.

The construction of the digital platform has further optimized the supporting services of the knitting industry. After more than 50 years, there are more than 3,500 modern knitting enterprises in Nanchang. In 2023, the city's 418 textile and garment enterprises above designated size will achieve a cumulative operating income of 19.29 billion yuan. Today, Nanchang's knitting industry has formed the advantages of a complete chain and many categories, and its comprehensive strength is leading in the province and in the country.

A new high-speed rail city: traditional industries open up new horizons

On December 27, 2023, the Huangchang section of the Hangzhou-Changzhou high-speed railway was officially put into operation. At 9:08 a.m. on the same day, the G4012 train of Fuxing intelligent EMU departed from Nanchang East Railway Station......

2 kilometers to the west, in Nanchang Fudlong Industrial Co., Ltd., trucks full of knitted garments slowly drove out and headed for overseas markets.

"The company is less than 200 meters away from the Hongteng Elevated Straight Line, and it can go directly to Nanchang East Station to the east. According to the daily volume of nearly 100 tons of cloth in and out, it not only improves the transportation efficiency, but also saves a lot of logistics costs. Talking about the company's current location advantages, Hu Cong, general manager of Fudelong Industrial Co., Ltd., said excitedly, "This year, we are ready to seize the development opportunities of the high-speed rail new city and lay out the domestic market." ”

The station houses on the Hangchang high-speed railway road are the passages of the domestic trade market. "It only takes about 4 hours to drive from Nanchang East Railway Station to Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shanghai and other cities, which can quickly help us connect with the domestic high-quality market." Wu Hongbing, head of the company's marketing department, told reporters that they were about to set off to coastal cities to participate in the knitting expo and open up new horizons.

The blessing of the three-dimensional transportation hub has released the vitality and infinite possibilities of the Nanchang knitting domestic trade market. And the knitting people who take foreign trade as the "main battlefield" have also been "sailing away" non-stop.

Under the new round of "going to sea" tide, the "order grabbing" plan continues to appear on the schedule of knitting entrepreneurs. They either went to overseas exhibitions by government chartered groups, or they went out to attract investment on their own, and they went abroad to the world.

At the "Las Vegas International Clothing, Fabrics, Home Textiles and Footwear Exhibition", Wan Jiaqi, general manager of Jiangxi Ola Trading Co., Ltd., gained a lot, not only reached a considerable amount of orders on the spot, but also smelled new business opportunities in overseas markets.

"'Going overseas' is not only to 'grab' orders, but more importantly, to establish contact with global buyers and take the pulse of market demand and changing trends." Wan Jiaqi analysis, in the past, we mainly produced OEM products, in order to truly promote the products to the global market, not only to get the orders back, but also to integrate advanced production technology, R & D design, and intelligent management mode into the products, "We plan to get the order, focus on R & D and design, produce high value-added products, and also pave the way for the next step to build our own brand." ”

From scattered family workshops to large-scale and high-digital characteristic industrial clusters, from relying solely on the export market to "synchronized" domestic and foreign sales, from cheap OEM to creating high value-added independent brands...... 75 years of singing and forging ahead, the Qingshan Lake cultural shirt that has crossed the ocean has strides forward with the new era. Today's Nanchang "East Gate" is welcoming guests from all over the world with a new attitude.
