Kevin McAllister, the community manager of Bend Studio, the developer of "The Past", recently posted on social media, saying that although he is sorry, the next work of Bend Studio will not be a sequel to "The Days", but a new IP.
In a tweet, Kevin McAllister said: "I apologize to our No Ever Again community for constantly instilling false hopes and misinformation in people who are looking for likes. It's not fair to all of you. In addition, he said in his reply that the news related to the sequel to "Once Upon a Time" came from "previous developers", but now "it's time to move on."
McAllister then confirmed that they are currently working on a new IP that will be officially announced by the studio when there is actual news to share. Back in June 2022, Bend Studios revealed that it was working on its next project and confirmed that it would be a new IP with multiplayer content and based on the open world of Once Upon a Time, but no specific information has been released so far.
