1905 Movie Network News Recently, the live-action series of "Strange Doctor Black Jack" starring Issey Takahashi was officially broadcast, and a set of new stills were released. A lion-faced patient, an intern doctor who tracked down Blackjack, a minister of justice who turned to Blackjack for help because of his son's injury... Many classic character images are displayed one by one.
This drama is adapted from the original work of the same name by Osamu Tezuka, and the protagonist is Black Jack (played by Issey Takahashi), an unlicensed genius surgeon who charges his family a ridiculously high treatment fee in exchange for a 100% success rate of surgery. The story of the TV drama version begins with him being commissioned by Minister of Justice Masafumi Furukawa to perform a top-secret operation on his son, who was seriously damaged by an accident's internal organs. In the following plots, classic characters and stories from the original work, such as Keisuke Hasegawa, an intern doctor who tracked down "Dr. Black Jack" because he couldn't accept his friend's death in prison, and Rokumiko, who suffered from lion-faced disease, will also appear.
