In October 2023, nine departments, including the Ministry of Transport, issued the "Several Opinions on Promoting the Healthy and Sustainable Development of Urban Public Transport", proposing 15 specific measures to promote the healthy and sustainable development of urban public transport from the aspects of implementing the operating subsidy compensation policy and improving the price mechanism.
