The seat competition between Hongmeng Zhixing and Li Auto is still a major attraction. Li Auto was the first to announce sales figures. HarmonyOS Zhixing's deliveries in June were not as good as Li Auto's, with 46,141 units delivered. However, Hongmeng Zhixing won the sales championship in the first half of this year. HarmonyOS Zhixing said that from January to June this year, a total of 194,207 vehicles will be delivered across the entire Hongmeng Zhixing series in 2024, ranking first among China's new power brands in the first half of the year.

In addition, the sales of a number of new automakers reached new highs. Among them, NIO delivered 21,209 new cars in June, a year-on-year increase of 98%; The delivery volume of Leapmotor and ZEEKR exceeded 20,000 units for the first time in June, and the former delivered 20,116 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 52.3%; The latter delivered 20,106 vehicles, up 89% year-on-year.

The monthly delivery volume of Leap exceeded 20,000 units for the first time

In 2024, a total of 194,207 vehicles will be delivered across the entire HarmonyOS series, making it the No. 1 brand in the first half of the year. In June, HarmonyOS delivered 46,141 vehicles.

Specifically, 17,241 units of the M9 were delivered in June, with a cumulative total of more than 100,000 units. The cumulative sales of the new M7 exceeded 110,000 units in the first half of the year, and 18,493 units were delivered in June. Deliveries of the new M5 exceeded 10,000 units, with 7,046 units delivered in June. The S7 delivered 2,995 units in the month.

In the first half of this year, Hongmeng Zhixing ranked among the forefront of the industry, which also boosted the performance of Cialis. After May, Li Auto once again topped the monthly sales list of new forces in June, with a total of 47,774 new vehicles delivered in the month, a year-on-year increase of 46.7%. In 2024, Li Auto has delivered a total of 188,981 vehicles.

Zeekr followed closely behind, also breaking the 20,000 mark, with 20,106 units delivered in June, up 89% year-on-year. From January to June, ZEEKR delivered 87,870 units, a year-on-year increase of 106%, more than doubling the same period last year.

The deliveries of Xpeng Motors and Nezha Motors in June are still hovering around 10,000 units. Xpeng delivered 10,668 new vehicles, up 24% year-on-year and 5% month-on-month. Nezha Automobile delivered 10,206 vehicles in June.

Xiaomi Auto delivered more than 10,000 vehicles in June, but it did not disclose specific figures. VOYAH delivered 5,507 vehicles in June, up 83% year-on-year. Zhiji Auto's sales in June reached 6,015 units, a year-on-year increase of 200%.

Many car companies have completed less than 40% of their annual sales targets

Although a number of new forces made new breakthroughs in sales in June month-on-month and year-on-year, looking back at their annual sales targets on the first day of the second half of 2024, the completion rate of many new forces was less than 40%.

After the loss of MEGA, Li Auto lowered its original sales target of 800,000 units. According to a report by Auto on June 4, Li Auto once again lowered its sales target for 2024, with an adjusted target of 480,000 units. In the first half of the year, Li Auto delivered 188,981 vehicles, achieving 39.37% of its annual sales target.

In terms of ZEEKR, the cumulative sales in the first half of the year were 87,870 units, and its annual sales target was 230,000 units, and the current annual sales target achievement rate was 38.2%. For 2024, Leapmotor plans to achieve an annual sales target of 250,000-300,000 units. As of the end of June, Leapmotor has delivered a total of 86,696 vehicles this year. Based on the sales volume of 250,000 units, Leapmotor completed 34.7% of the progress in the first half of the year.

Xiaomi Auto sprinted to 100,000 deliveries this year, and based on the delivery of 10,000 units in June, the delivery volume this year was about 25,700 units, and the progress bar was completed by about 25.7%.

Xpeng delivered 52,028 vehicles from January to June, 18.6% of the annual target of 280,000 units.

In terms of Hongmeng Zhixing, the official sales target for 2024 has not been announced. At the 2024 China Blue Book Forum held in June, Yu Chengdong, Executive Director of Huawei, Chairman of the Device BG, and Chairman of the Intelligent Vehicle Solution BU, said that starting in June this year, Huawei's sales volume will increase from 40,000 units per month to 50,000 units.

In the first half of this year, the new energy vehicle market moved forward in the "involution". In addition to the new players, BYD sold 340,211 passenger cars in June, up 35.2% year-on-year. From January to June, BYD's cumulative passenger car sales have exceeded 1.6 million. Geely Automobile's new energy sales in June were 65,959 units, a record high. At the same time, Geely Automobile announced on July 1 that it would raise its sales target for 2024 to 2 million units, and it has completed 955,700 units in the first half of the year, close to half of the latest annual sales target.

Entering the second half of 2024, new energy vehicle companies will continue to fight price, marketing, and service, and a number of new cars such as Xpeng MONA M03, Aion's second-generation AION V, and Ledao L60 are ready to go, and the new energy vehicle market will still be full of highlights in the second half of the year.
