At present, the construction of Yicheng North Station has made phased progress, and after the completion and opening of Yicheng North Station, it will end the history of Yicheng not being connected to high-speed rail.
On July 1, the steel structure of the roof of Yicheng North Station was upgraded to the design elevation, and the overall improvement was successfully completed, marking the phased progress of the construction of the station building of Yicheng North Station of Xiangjing Railway.
Xiangjing Railway is an important part of the "Hunan Channel", one of the main channels of the "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railways planned in the medium and long-term railway network planning of the mainland, with 4 stations on the whole line, namely Xiangyang East, Yicheng North, Shuanghe West and Jingmen West, of which Xiangyang East is the existing station and Yicheng North is the new intermediate station.

Yicheng North Station is a passenger intermediate station, and the station building is a line-side station type, with a construction area of about 6,000 square meters, a maximum roof span of 33 meters, and a maximum height of 21.9 meters. The main structure adopts a reinforced concrete frame structure, and the roof adopts a steel structure grid.
