Gatton, UK, July 1, 2024 – The Aston Martin line-up of ultra-luxury sports cars (Valkyrie, Valour, Valiant, Victor and Vantage) will make their collective debut at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed from July 11 to 14, taking part in the famous Goodwood Hill Climb in a 'Fast & Furious' showdown.
The Goodwood Festival of Speed is a well-known summer event in the UK and takes place every July. The event has become a must-see pilgrimage for speed enthusiasts, with fans from all over the world flocking to see the world's top sports cars in action and see the stars of past, present and future motorsport at the wheel.
This year, Aston Martin will be a thrilling visual feast for the Goodwood Festival of Speed spectators, who will witness the world premiere of the Aston Martin Valiant. Limited to 38 cars worldwide, the Valiant is a track-focused, road-legal special edition that was conceived on a personal commission from Aston Martin Saudi Aramco F1 Team driver and two-time F1 World Champion Fernando Alonso. On Friday 12 July, Fernando Alonso will be at the wheel of the new car at Goodwood. The Valiant is not only an expression of Aston Martin's commitment to creating exceptional cars for true drivers, but also a tribute to the legendary Aston Martin 'Muncher' Le Mans car, which is sure to be a star of the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
In addition, Aston Martin's truly impressive line-up of the best sports cars will be on display at the Supercar Paddock with Valiant and competing in the Goodwood Hill Climb.
Valkyrie, the star car that redefined the pinnacle of Aston Martin's supercars, is back. In 2021, this much-talked-about and sought-after model made its debut at Goodwood. Now, the new Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR-LMH supercar is inspired by Valkyrie and will help Aston Martin return to the top of the sports class.
The Aston Martin Valour is a tribute to the 110th anniversary of Aston Martin. The car is powered by a 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine mated to a customised six-speed manual gearbox. The ingenious power combination gives the driver maximum sense of control, and the timeless charm that exudes Valour is enough to make it the swan song of its time.
Aston Martin Victor was named "the only supercar ever seen in the 80s" by the British car show Top Gear, the only one of its kind in the world. Designed and built by Aston Martin's Q Bespoke department, which specialises in unique personalisation, the car is powered by a manual gearbox and a V12 engine. For car enthusiasts, the Goodwood Festival of Speed is a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with this world-only supercar at the Goodwood Hill Climb and Supercar Exhibit.
Aston Martin's all-new Vantage, launched a few months ago, is a sports car for real drivers. Named after the Vantage, this latest car continues Aston Martin's lineage of designing front-engined, rear-wheel-drive chassis to deliver unprecedented thrills with unrivalled performance confidence. The Vantage has always been an iconic Aston Martin line, and the all-new Vantage sets a new benchmark for excellence in every way.
Aston Martin's new Vantage will also be used as the official safety car of the FIA Formula 1® and the new Vantage GT3 for 2024 in a series of races around the world, including the FIA World Endurance Championship.
The world's first super GT car, the Aston Martin DB12, will also be unveiled alongside all Goodwood's V-named models. Aston Martin will also be showcasing the new DBX707 at the First Glance Paddock on the main circuit, showcasing its sophisticated and luxurious new interior design.
