Magnet is one step closer to mass production.
At the 2022 Milan exhibition, Polar Core unveiled a very avant-garde and cool concept electric motorcycle Magnet Concept, and claimed that it is "a visual product that combines top performance, high-tech and unique design". After the unveiling of the new concept car, there was a lot of discussion, and most people said that they were looking forward to the arrival of the production car, but there were also a small number of car enthusiasts who were worried that the final commercial car would be far from the concept car.
However, the recent announcement of the application for Chunfeng Power from the Patent Office may put these riders at ease - the data shows that Chunfeng Power has applied for the appearance patent for Magnet, and the patent drawing has a high degree of overlap with the concept car unveiled earlier -
Although the presentation of the patent drawings is not very detailed, it can be seen from the general outline of the model that the details of the relevant vehicles in terms of the design of the mid-mounted motor, single swingarm, fixed air wing, seats and other details are still the same as those unveiled at the Milan exhibition earlier.
In terms of performance, it was officially revealed earlier that this Magnet will use a replaceable lithium battery, with a maximum speed of more than 150km/h, 0~50m/h acceleration of less than 2.5s, and a NEDC range of 200km, in short, it will be a high-performance car. In addition, the official also emphasized its intelligent equipment, including support for voice and touch control, can be connected with the ZEEHO APP, and is equipped with high-definition cameras at the front and rear to assist riding.
In terms of other equipment, there is no relevant information, but it can be seen from the unveiled concept car that the vehicle is equipped with a full set of Brembo brakes, carbon fiber calipers cooling shroud, as well as front and rear Ohlins shock absorption, full hot melt tires and so on. However, this should be the equipment of the top model, and the follow-up polar core may also be launched in different versions of the model in order to meet the needs of a wider group of consumers.
The announcement of Magnet's design patents means that Magnet is one step closer to mass production. As for the specific launch time of Magnet, there is no news yet. But what is certain is that if Polarcore really makes this sci-fi concept design into a production car, it should attract many high-end consumers of two-wheelers to pay for it.
