Huawei will release a feature update for the Qiankun ADS smart car solution in June 2024. In the latest upgrade, the company has added some enhancements to the solution, including certain optimizations to provide a better driving experience. Let's take a look:

Now, the Chinese tech giant is making Huawei's Qiankun ADS automotive solution more effective with a June 2024 update. The company made the announcement through its official Weibo account and has begun to gradually roll out eligible models.
The June 2024 feature update brings new smart parking awareness tools and a traffic light countdown map. The former will be committed to improving the accuracy of smart parking. This will help to quickly identify low steps or flower beds to prevent collisions. The latter supports advance traffic light indication. Before reaching the signal point, the user sees a traffic light countdown sign on the display.
Huawei has further enhanced the 3D view of ADS, and now users will be able to distinguish between large and large vehicles by seeing a detailed display of the 3D layout of small and large vehicles on the on-board screen. In addition, the Qiankun ADS 3D view will display the purple interface of the M5 MAX RS, S7 MAX RS and S7 Ultra smart cars. This visual effect will work in Sport+ mode
The next add-on is enable/disable the parking mirrors as well as the panoramic image. When in a narrow parking space, when an obstacle is identified as being too close, the mirrors will automatically fold and then you can manually open it when needed. Huawei has made some changes to the APA smart parking interface. When the vehicle enters R gear, the ADS solution opens the APA interface by default. Users can set the settings in the Panoramic View of Huawei Intelligent Driving > Driver Assistance > on the control interface.
Huawei's ADS solution also adds a new "Seat Belt Reminder" feature with vibration effect. When faced with lane markings or other related scenarios, the car system will prompt "Please take over immediately" and remind the seat belt to vibrate. This new feature is currently available for AVATR 11 and M9. But with the update of the new Qiankun ADS, other eligible car users will also get these useful features.
