On July 2, after 38 days of construction, the improvement project of Longxiangqiao Station of Hangzhou Metro Line 1 was successfully completed.
During the construction period, the Longxiangqiao Metro Station will remain in normal operation.
In order to ensure that passenger travel is not affected, under the limited space and time, Hangzhou-Hong Kong Metro has carefully prepared the project plan, strengthened the management of the construction site, carefully organized the passenger flow guidance, and promoted the project progress in an orderly manner.

Zhu Ning, spokesman for Hangzhou-Hong Kong Metro, told reporters that at present, the security check point in the middle of the original station hall of Longxiangqiao Metro Station has been adjusted to the entrance and exit passages of A and B.
The automatic ticket vending machines near entrances A and D of the station have been adjusted from built-in wall installation to surface-mounted installation, freeing up about 40 square meters of public space for passengers.
The number of turnstile passages at the station has been increased from 31 to 38, of which the number of two-way turnstile passages has been increased from 8 to 18 to enhance the flexibility of passenger flow guidance measures at the station. The number of wide turnstile aisles has been increased from 1 to 6 to facilitate the passage of wheelchairs, strollers and passengers with large luggage.
Through this improvement project, the number of turnstile passages has been increased, making passenger travel more efficient and convenient; The layout of the equipment in the station is optimized, and the two sides of the station hall form a circulation in and out of the station, which effectively avoids the hedging of passenger flow during the large passenger flow.

The station halls on the side of entrances A and B of Longxiangqiao Station and the station halls on the side of entrances C and D will no longer be connected, which means that passengers cannot pass through directly at both ends of the station hall.
The station will provide guidance to passengers by posting guidance signs and arranging staff to be on duty.
If passengers need to use the toilet at entrances A and B, they can pay attention to the on-site guidance signs to go to the toilet in the nearest commercial area, or contact the on-site staff for assistance. Zhu Ning said that if passengers need to pass through, they can use the access of the surrounding commercial area.
