ACCORDING TO VIDEO REPORTS, THE FN EVOLYS IS EQUIPPED WITH A HYDRAULIC SHOCK ABSORBER TO COMPENSATE FOR RECOIL. Reloading was carried out by a gas release mechanism with a short piston stroke, and the bullet was fired from the open position of the bolt with a rotary lock.
The barrel was 355 or 406 mm long and had a detachable three-bladed flame suppressor at the end. Feeding cartridges from a loose belt with open links is just as effective in the "free-hanging" position as it is from a stand. There is a pull handle on the back of the receiver that does not move when firing.

The arc trigger is closed by a shroud combined with a convex pistol grip (with stoppers at the end) and a comprehensive combined texture.
The adjustable telescopic stock is made of black polymer with a concave butt plate, the length can be adjusted in 6 positions by pressing the side button, and the height is adjusted using a smooth curved "comb". There is a wide "swivel bar" underneath for attaching the belts on both sides.
The bipod with two carbon fiber legs of a fixed height is attached to the Picatinny barrel lower rail by a quick-release adapter with a hinge, and in front of it there is a "shield" for a safe and comfortable grip.
