Turkish shipbuilder Alia Yachts' latest 52.5-metre-long custom-built support yacht has finally welcomed her launch. The boat was named "Sea Club 53". She is awaiting final outfitting and sea trials ahead of delivery in August.
The superyacht got its name from its impressive swim platform
Described by the shipyard as a "beast of the sea", the superyacht consists of three separate sections, including a steel hull, an aluminum superstructure, and a helicopterdeck. Design highlights include a "cave"-shaped annex boat storage, toys and an inflatable water park.
The three parts were closed in 2022
Gökhan Çelik, President of the shipyard, said: "The 'Sea Club 53' is the result of our Alia Yachts' skill and ingenuity, which perfectly embodies our shipbuilding philosophy and excellence. He continued: "We were delighted to see her show off her charm in the water. It was an ambitious, fast-moving project, and it was combined with the unwavering belief of our technical consultant, Technical Marine UK, the owner's team, and our team's agile mindset that we were able to turn this dream into a tangible reality in just over two years. ”
Dutch studio Azure Yacht Design designed the interior and exterior of the 499GT superyacht, while the ship engineering was designed by Diana Yacht Design. The yacht has a simple yet stylish exterior with a near-vertical bow design that resembles a sword breaking through the waves.
Inside, the owner's cabin and four cabins are staggered to provide guests with a comfortable space to relax. A dedicated relaxation area is like an oasis on the sea, allowing you to find a moment of tranquility in the midst of busy social activities. For example, the bridge deck and sundeck are ideal for gatherings and social events, and this yacht can accommodate up to 10 guests and 12 crew members.
"Sea Club 53" is not only a yacht, but also a multi-purpose platform at sea. In the covered garage on the main deck, it can accommodate a 13-metre tender, an 8.2-metre crew boat, a submarine, two jet skis, two sailboats and two catamarans.
Its practicality is a pride for the yacht, with an innovative loading concept that includes a fully certified helideck and a 50 square metre lower deck storage area. Here, in addition to storing other toys, there are 20 modular water park units, allowing the staff to create a new and complex sea park for guests every day. In addition, there is additional space for scuba equipment, SeaBobs, surfboards and e-bikes for all your marine entertainment needs.

The yacht's key figures are impressive, with an 8.6-metre-wide hull that underlines its poised demeanor and a top speed of 15 knots demonstrating its exceptional sailing performance.
The newly launched yacht is one of five projects underway at the Turkish shipyard. These include a 60-metre 'Vripack project' that unites the same design team that worked on the award-winning 'Al Waab', and the 45-metre 'San project', which recently completed sea trials.
